Start from the car park of the Marcel Soulier community hall, in Saint-Vincent-La-Commanderie, Rue des Écoliers.
(S/E) Head north on Rue des Écoliers to leave the village, then take theD119A and keep heading towards Barbière on the right.
(1) Keep to the right and stay on the D125 (Route des Croisées). Ignore the hamlet of Les Bouchiers and head for Chemin du Peu, on the left.
(2) Turn left onto it and carry on straight ahead until you reach a crossroad.
(3) Turn right (D124) then take the first right, Route des 24 Heures Cyclistes.
(4) At a place called Les Frémonds, turn right and ignore the Impasse du Bois des Aulnes. You will soon reach Rue Maurice Didier on the right.
(5) Take this road and enter the housing estate. Pass between the two planters, then, at the end, turn left and join the D125 at the end of Chemin des Faures. Turn right, continue along the route you have already taken and you will soon reach Chemin de la Taillat on the right.
(6) Take this road and follow it to a four-way junction.
(7) Turn left onto Chemin de l’Évêque, then at the give way sign, go straight on and turn right at the end of the road (Route de Tourniol). Continue to a four-way junction.
(8) Take Chemin Les Massetides on the left and continue straight on at the next fork. Cross the ford with care, as the Barberolle can be fast-flowing after heavy rain, and head for the next junction.
(9) Take Chemin des Charbonniers on the right and follow it to a multi-way junction. Take the second road on the left, which passes in front of an electrical substation (Chemin de Mouilleux), and continue to a crossroad.
(10) Turn right (Route des Vignettes) and head towards the village of Saint-Didier.
(11) Cross the village and head towards the golf course. Follow the D119 to the next four-way junction.
(12) Continue straight ahead onto Chemin de la Limassole and carry on straight until you reach Route du Vercors.
(13) Cross the main road with care and head straight ahead onto Avenue Marcel Courthial. Enter the town of Chabeuil and continue to Rue Amédéo Modigliani.
(14) Take the cycle path opposite, to the left of Avenue Georges Abel.
(15) At Place Charles de Gaulle, turn left, cross the footbridge over the Véore, then head right. Pass the town hall, ignore the bridge on your right and continue straight ahead until the first street on the right.
(16) Follow this road, Rue des Écoles, to a roundabout.
(17) Take the second exit, then turn immediately left onto Rue des Muriers and continue to a roundabout.
(18) Take the dead-end street, Rue des Campanules, then continue towards Valence (green sign for cyclists). Then go under the A41 and take the footbridge over the Véore on the right. At the junction, turn left and follow the D236, Route de Beaumont, until you reach the D176.
(19) Head left towards Beaumont-les-Valence and Montvendre, then join the Chemin des Virettes on the right.
(20) Follow this road, then, at the next junction, turn left onto Route des Bois, and, at the end, turn right (Route de la Garenne). Continue straight ahead.
(21) Cross the Rouaille (stream) – a tributary of the Ecoutay.
(22) Crossthe Ecoutay (watercourse) – a tributary of the Véore – and reach the end of Chemin de la Rollière.
(23) Take the hairpin bend to the right onto Chemin des Gardons and continue straight on until the end of Chemin de la Boulinarde.
(24) First turn right then left and take Chemin des Foulons. Cross the bridge over the Écoutay and reach a four-way junction.
(25) Turn right onto Chemin de Chaudeblache and continue to the next junction.
(26) Turn left, then left again onto Chemin de Mornas, then right onto Chemin des Béalets and follow it to the end.
(27) At the stop sign, turn right and follow the D236 to the D176. Continue left towards Malissard, cross the bridge over the Véore again and carry on straight ahead until you reach the next four-way junction.
(28) Turn right onto Chemin Charbonnel, then keep right onto Route de Malissard (D200). Follow this for about 500 m until you reach bus stop no. 20, “Maltras”.
(29) Turn left onto Chemin de Maltras and follow the green sign for Valence, intended for cyclists. At the stop sign, turn right onto Chemin de Fredier and proceed to a junction.
(30) Cross theD68 with careto reach the protected lane opposite. Turn right, continue for about 160 m and turn left onto Chemin du Réservoir. Follow the canal on your left, then leave it and take the second road on the right, Chemin de Nazaret, towards Béranger. Pass under the TGV line bridge and you’ll soon reach the next junction.
(31) Turn left onto Route des Carrières, heading towards Les Berards. Continue straight on until the roundabout at Montélier.
(32) Turn right (Rue des Pré-Alpes) then continue straight on, leave the village and follow the D143 to a three-way junction, a few metres before a high-voltage power line.
(33) Keep left onto Chemin de Tervelet, then, at the next junction, continue straight on along Chemin des Gourats. Carry on straight ahead until the end of Route de Montélier.
(34) Turn left (Route de Peyrus) and follow the D102 to the first houses in Charpey.
(35) Continue right onto Route des Galons, towards Saint-Vincent-la-Commanderie, reach the village and then the village hall in Saint-Vincent-La-Commanderie, Rue des Écoliers (S/E).
