Avesnois walks

As you reach Poix-du-Nord, half-timbered farms and restored wash houses dot the route with touches of authenticity. At every turn, birdsong and the murmur of streams compose a changing rural tableau. The trail continues to Vendegies-aux-Bois, where the deciduous forest forms secret paths and wild clearings. This 50 km bike ride offers a bucolic immersion along the banks of the Sambre, starting from Bachant. You will reach Leval, then Saint-Rémy-du-Nord, crossing peaceful and green landscapes. The route takes you to the port of Hautmont, perfect for a friendly break by the water. An ideal loop for combining relaxation, nature and local flora and fauna.

This circuit takes you from Boussois to the superb site of Watissart, crosses Jeumont and crosses the Belgian border.
