Park in the Grand Place car park.
(S/E) Cross the square (castle, bandstand and apiary).
Go down Ruelle des Marchelles on the left. Pass in front of the entrance to the Jardin au Naturel (a miniature version of the natural environments of the Avesnois region).
When you reach Rue du Bourlard, cross over and go down the path opposite. Keep the brewery and the Hogneau on your left and follow Fond des Rocs, describing a wide curve.
(1) Climb the hill on the right, taking Chemin de la Chapelle on the far left. At the Notre-Dame de Bon-Secours chapel, continue climbing until you reach Gussignies church.
(2) Turn left onto Rue de l'Église, then take the first road on the right. At the end of this road, turn right towards the hamlet of Termicourt.
(3) Turn left onto Rue Charles de Gaulle. At the Calvary, cross Chaussée Brunehaut (RD24) and continue straight ahead on the small road towards the hamlet of Eugnies. Continue straight ahead until you reach the four-way crossroads.
(4) You are now at the old customs post. Turn right and cross the hamlet of La Maniette. At the intersection, continue straight ahead along Route d'Héricamp.
(5) At the entrance to Bellignies, leave the main road and take the path on the right. Go down the road on the left and, after the stream, take the old railway line on the right that used to serve the marble works and quarries along the Hogneau.
(6) Continue straight ahead, pass the tennis court and take Rue de la Place. At the T-junction, turn right, then right again and immediately left onto Pont du Moulin. After the chimney, a reminder of an old steam engine used for sawing stone, turn right and pass the Marble Museum.
(7) After the bridge over the Hogneau, go straight up Rue Virginette. After the "Gussignies" town sign, turn left onto Vieux Chemin de Bavay
(8) Turn left onto the stony Chemin Royal, which leads to the Grand Place.
