Saune route in Vaux
18 km without any particular difficulty on grassy paths and small tarmac roads
The trail is marked in yellow, but the markings are sometimes sparse or difficult to find.
However, with the attached map, the route is not difficult to follow.

A pleasant route through the countryside north of Rabastens in the Tarn department. No major difficulties
The route crosses several other routes marked in yellow, so the different markings along the route should only be taken as a relative guide.
With the attached map, it is very easy to follow the route.

A short, easy walk to get some fresh air.
Lake Laragou in Montpitol
A lakeside walk with no major difficulties. Best done in dry weather as the lake's banks are a little muddy.
Large circular from Les Caneilles to Saint-Lary-Soulan
An easy hike apart from the climb to Sailhan, which is steep but on a good, very passable path.
Yellow markings are faded or non-existent in places, but the Xs indicating the wrong direction are clearly visible.
Vineyards and heath in Villeneuve-Minervois
Many points of interest along the route: arboretum, lime kilns, dolmen, legend, remarkable tree...
The footbridge from Hautpoul to Mazamet
Hike with elevation gain, marked in yellow at intervals, which will allow you to use the Hautpoul footbridge opened at the end of 2018 and cross the medieval village of the same name.
There is a tricky section between points (6) and (7) where recent tree felling has more or less destroyed the mapped paths and removed the markers.
Circular route of the Lacs and Potiers from Montgaillard
This route is a combination of two perfectly marked routes.
At the start, follow thePR®5route des Lacs signs and, from the (9), follow thePR®6route des Potiers signs.
Naucelle–Sauveterre-de-Rouergue circular loop
This circular route, which constantly goes up and down, follows mostly narrow paths through the woodland alongside a stream; it may therefore prove difficult, or even impassable, in wet weather.
It is well signposted in yellow in the first section, but once you’ve left Sauveterre, there are no signposts, so you’ll need to follow the route description carefully.
Isle-en-Dodon circular via Puymaurin
Country route marked in yellow, no major difficulties.
Vineyards and heaths around Moussoulens
Unmarked hike on stony paths and trails where thick-soled footwear is recommended.
Little shade, so not recommended in strong sunlight. Apart from that, no particular difficulties.

A short, easy hike to stretch your legs or enjoy with the family.

A refreshing hike around Lake La Balerne, with no major difficulties.

Saint-Genies-Bellevue stream circular
The countryside around Saint-Geniès-Bellevue, a few kilometres from Toulouse.
However, it is best to walk during dry weather, as some sections along the stream are very muddy.

The first part of the walk takes you through the Gaillac AOC vineyards, followed by a stretch on the edge of the Sivens forest. An easy walk.
The countryside around Vieille-Toulouse
On the outskirts of Toulouse, this is a rural hike that is a little challenging (steep slopes) but not too difficult, with a long, very pleasant stretch through the woods in the middle, which can be very muddy when it rains.
This hike follows several PR® trails marked in yellow. Ignore these markings.

It’s not quite the countryside, but it’s not the city either. Despite its proximity to the city, this walk near Toulouse offers plenty of greenery and a breath of fresh air.

A hilly hike that will take you to Bonrepos Riquet Castle and the old town of Verfeil. Admittedly, there may be a little too much tarmac (50%) for some people's liking, but it is on small, quiet roads.
Around Pechbonnieu
The route takes you through the inner suburbs of Toulouse, from Pechbonnieu to Montberon and then on to Saint-Loup-Cammas, via paths and small roads. It’s not difficult, but some paths may be muddy in wet weather.

Visit the chapels and castles (unfortunately rarely open) north of Rabastens (81), starting from Vertus Church, whilst exploring the surrounding countryside.

Fields and woods around Cépet
A country walk through the fields and woods around Cépet (31 ). There are a few short stretches on roads open to traffic, but this does not detract from the charm of this walk on the outskirts of Toulouse.

This walk close to the city remains mostly rural and allows you to discover the pretty Pont Saint Jean bridge and the small Bois de Monturon forest. An ideal family walk with no difficulty.
The countryside around Pibrac and the edge of the Forest of Bouconne
This walk, with very little tarmac, takes you from Pibrac to the Bouconne Forest via a series of small paths through the countryside. With no particular difficulties, it is suitable for walkers of all ages.
