Car park in front of the Laburgade village hall.
(S/E) At the car park exit, take the D10 to the left, then the small passage to the right of the church which leads to the Place de la Mairie. Go straight ahead and take the road on the left towards Le Pech Blanc. You will arrive at the crossroads near the war memorial.
(1) Turn left and follow the road straight ahead for a good kilometre. Go through the S-bend and join the three-way junction.
(2) At the three-way junction, continue along the road to the left towards Labouissière. After the hamlet, continue to the big bend to the left.
(3) In the bend, almost level with an abandoned cottage, take the small path on the right (somewhat hidden by vegetation in certain seasons) to descend through the woods to a tarmac road. Turn left onto this road and you will be on theGR®65. Immediately after, you will reach the Lavoir d'Oustriols and the crossroads with a path.
(4) Take this path on the right and follow theGR®65(Chemin de Compostelle) which climbs gently. Cross the D10 (take care) and continue along the path opposite. Keep heading south-east for about 1 km until you find a smaller path that veers off to the left.
(5) Take this path straight ahead into the forest, which heads north-east and joins a tarmac road. Turn left and, after about 700 m, at a place called Biargues, you will come to a fork in the road.
(6) Continue on the left to reach Lac de Fraysse. Walk along the right side of the lake and follow the path until you reach the D22.
(7) Cross the D22 to reach the small dirt track just above on the other side of the road, which turns right after 100 m. Continue to Camp Del Frau, after the tennis court near the house.
(8) Take the path to the left, leaving the tennis court on your left. After about 300 metres, turn onto the first path on the right which descends into the woods, gradually heading north and, at the end, joins a cross path.
(9) Turn left and after about 500 metres, take thefirst path on the right. Follow it straight ahead until you reach the tarmac road.
(10) Turn right towards the village of Aujols, pass in front of the church and cemetery, and continue straight down towards the lake and its butterfly wash houses. When you reach Place du Lac, walk along the left side of the lake to reach thethird street on the left.
(11) Take this road to the left of the lake (opposite the pump) towards Flaujac Poujols, then take thefirst road on the left at the village exit sign. Pass the hamlet of Moulin de Payrot and continue straight ahead. Atthe first crossroads, turn right then left at the next bend. You will reach the hamlet of L'Escalier and the D10.
(12) Follow the D10 (take care), in the left-hand bend leave the cross on your right then keep left for about 300 m and, at the start of the right-hand bend, leave the road for the stony path and join a tarmac road.
(13) Follow the tarmac road to the right and, after about 70 m, take thefirst path on the left. Follow it until you reach the D10.
(14) Walk along the D10 (taking care) and take thefirst road on the left towards the cemetery to join the D22 at a place called Les Crouzettes.
(15) Follow the D22 to the right and, just before a crossroads with a stone cross, take the path on the right which runs alongside a series of wells and takes you back to the car park in front of the village hall in Laburgade (S/E).
