Saint-Sauveur through the woods from Bruguières

Park in the car park of the "Le Bascala" theatre in Bruguières.

(S/E) Head towards the lake, due south, and go around it on the right, following the path that runs closest to the shore. Join the path opposite and follow it to the right towards the town centre. You will come out on Avenue des Pyrénées.

(1) Cross at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight ahead to the central square. Go around the roundabout on the right, cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn right under the shade structures towards the town hall. Then go up the stairs on the left to continue straight ahead under the porch and reach a car park.

(2) Cross the car park and climb up to the left through the grass at the edge of Parc de Xéraco. Turn left, cross Allée de Xéraco to reach Impasse de la Tour and come out onto Rue de la Tour. Turn left until you reach the roundabout.

(3) Turn right, then quickly left to climb the embankment towards the playground. After the playground, turn right and follow the tarmac road to Rue de Bel Air. Follow it to the right, then turn left and, after a few bends, you will reach Rue Notre-Dame.

(4) Turn left, then right onto Chemin de Nalbèze. Go to the end and continue along the path that enters the woods. Walk for about 600 metres.

(5) Turn right, then left at the small stream. Continue to the edge of the woods.

(6) Head left, cross the field and then a short wooded area. Follow a gravel path that joins the tarmac road called Chemin des Bois.

(7) Turn right, then left to reach the traffic lights on the D4 (Route des Pyrénées). Cross at the pedestrian crossing and head downhill to the right until you reach the first road on the left. Continue for about 50 metres, then turn right into Impasse Jean Gazagne.

(8) At the end of the cul-de-sac, take the path on the left, which climbs towards the village of Saint-Sauveur, and continue to the church. Cross Chemin le Carretal at the pedestrian crossing, then climb to the right towards the Town Hall via Rue Cave, alongside Square Saint-Guillaume.

(9) At the entrance to the town hall car park, go up to the left along the footpath until you reach Chemin de Saint-Guillaume, then go down to the left towards the cemetery.

(10) Take Chemin la Castellane on the right and, at the end of the cemetery, cross the park on the left and continue straight ahead, leaving the sports complex playgrounds on your right. Continue to Chemin de la Palanquette.

(11) Continue to the right, then take the first street on the left, Chemin de la Fiou, until you reach another cemetery. Walk along the right-hand side of the cemetery to enter the woods and, once inside, follow the path that slopes to the right and then heads south, winding slightly.

(12) At the edge of the woods, cross the field straight ahead until you reach a larger path, which you should follow to the right. After about 200 metres, take the path on the left until you reach the tarmac road called Chemin de Canet.

(13) Turn left, then left again to follow Rue de la Briqueterie to the roundabout, and continue straight ahead to reach the car park (S/E).
