Through the streets and paths of L'Union

Departure from the car park at the end of Avenue de Saint-Caprais in L'Union, near the lake.

(S/E) Walk along the lake on the left and follow the footpath.

(1) At the end of the lake, continue along the same path that follows La Sausse and join Avenue de Bayonne.

(2) Leave the path and follow the avenue straight ahead, along the grassy embankment, until you reach the roundabout.

(3) Turn left up the street, Chemin des Champs d'Esquis, until you reach Avenue des Pyrénées.

(4) Turn left for a few metres, then immediately turn right onto Chemin de Saint-Jean and follow it downhill to a large roundabout.

(5) Take the^first street on the left, Rue Jean Bouin, which is a one-way street, and go straight up to the next roundabout.

(6) Cross it and, on the street opposite, take the small path on the right that leads into the woods and follow it to come out in a green space. Continue slightly to the right until you reach another roundabout.

(7) Take Rue Picasso on the left and follow it to Collège Romain Rolland. Continue on the left along Chemin de Belbeze, then, after about 100 metres, take the^first right onto Impasse Roger Pujol.

(8) At the^first bend, continue straight ahead along the path alongside the sports grounds. Follow the path on the right to enter the woods and cross them. Exit onto Rue du Vallon and follow this street to the left, going downhill to the roundabout.

(9) Take the^first street on the left, then, after 100 metres, take the^first right, which continues along a footpath that descends to Chemin de Bessayre. Reach the roundabout on the right and cross it to take the street opposite and immediately take the path on the left.

(10) Follow the path, walk alongside (without entering) the clinic car park and follow the property walls until you reach the supermarket fence. Walk along the fence to the right and go up to the end, then turn left to Avenue de Dancelle and join the roundabout on the left.

(11) Take the^first street on the right and immediately take the path on the left and follow it for a long way until you reach the footbridge that crosses La Sausse.

(12) Cross the river and continue to the right, following it along the edge of the field until you reach the lake. The path then leaves the lake. Continue and take the^first path on the left towards the houses to reach a tarmac road. Continue straight on this road until you reach Chemin de Gabardie.

(13) Turn right and take the footbridge on the right that crosses the river to follow the footpath along the lake and reach the car park at the end of Avenue de Saint-Caprais in L'Union (S/E).
