Start from the car park at the Lac de La Thésauque Leisure Centre in Nailloux.
(S/E) From the car park, walk up onto the embankment and follow the lakeside path to the right, then continue to the end of the lake.
(1) At the end of the lake, about 150 m before the road, take the path on the right which climbs through the woods to a road.
(2) At the end of the path, almost level with the mill, turn left onto the tarmac road to reach the centre of Montgeard. Cross the junction with the Statue of the Virgin Mary. Walk past the town hall and, at the next junction, before the castle, turn right into Rue des Arcades.
(3) Cross the Grande Rue du Pastel and continue straight on along Rue de la Tour, then turn right onto Chemin de Sous Tourelle and take thefirst left. Turn left again onto Chemin des Marcheurs.
(4) Follow this path down to the motorway.
(5) Follow it to the left until you reach a road. Follow it to the left (Route des Éoliennes) and continue to the next junction. Carry on straight ahead for a few metres until you reach the path at the left-hand bend.
(6) Head straight up Chemin du Diable and reach a road (D19). First turn right then left and take the path leading down, Impasse des Bouscaties.
(7) At the edge of the field, at the corner of No. 91, turn onto the path on the left and follow it until you come to a cross street.
(8) Turn right, then, at the end of Rue des Moulins à Vent, turn right onto Rue de l'Aouta and follow it down to the lakeside.
(9) Follow the lake’s edge along the opposite bank to the one you started on. Head to the car park at the Lac de La Thésauque leisure centre in Nailloux (S/E).
