Departure from the cable car car park.
(S/E) Head towards the cable car station but do not cross the Neste d'Aure. Take the path that runs alongside it to the left until you reach the first street on the left, Rue de la Piscine.
(1) Turn left. Cross the D929 and continue to the roundabout with a fir tree-shaped fountain in the centre. Take the second street on the left, Rue Vincent Mir, then the street on the right at the roundabout near the bar "Au balcon", Rue Mirabelle. Continue for about 100 metres.
(2) Turn right onto Rue du Chemin de Sailhan and continue to the end
(3) Opposite, a small staircase leads to a steep path that goes up to the village of Sailhan.
(4) At the cemetery, opposite the church, turn right onto Rue Principale and, at the crossroads, follow the D116 towards Ens until you reach the calvary about 200 metres away.
(5) Take the path on the right and follow it straight ahead until you reach the junction with Chemin de Caneilles.
(6) Continue to the left and cross the old abandoned colony of Les Caneilles. Continue straight ahead until you reach the D929.
(7) Follow the road to the left, behind the protective parapet, and cross the Neste de Rioumajou on the Pont de Camou (small suspension bridge). Take the small path up the hill opposite towards the village of Tramezaïgues.
(8) Continue towards the village and cross the main street to go opposite, leaving the town hall on your left. At the end of the street, take the small alleyway to the right. After 50 metres, a small staircase on the left leads down to the D929.
(9) Take care when crossing the road to reach the bridge that takes you to the other side of the Neste d'Aure, then follow theGR® 105 stone path to the hamlet of Trachère.
(10) Continue to the left and cross the hamlet towards Cadeilhan-Trachère, straight on to the Notre-Dame de Piété Chapel at the end of the cul-de-sac.
(11) To the right of the chapel, follow a wooded path until you reach the road and descend the hairpin bend to the village of Vignec.
(12) At the church, turn right onto the main street towards Saint-Lary-Soulan and follow the D223 until you reach the car park on the right after crossing the Neste d'Aure (A/D).
