The countryside around Pibrac and the edge of the Forest of Bouconne

Start at the Tambourettes car park, Route de Mondonville in Pibrac.

(S/E) On leaving the car park, head up to the right onto Route de Mondonville M37f and at the^first roundabout, turn left onto Avenue François Verdier for about 500 m, leaving Route de Sainte-Germaine on your right.

(1) Find the narrow passage between the low boundary walls to reach the roundabout at Square Jean Curat, then go straight on. Further on, turn left onto Route de Sainte-Germaine and follow it for about 200 m.

(2) After the last houses, turn right onto a grassy path in the field. Follow this path almost straight ahead. At the end, turn left then go straight on until you reach the entrance to the forest

(3) Enter the forest and take the^first path on the left. Follow it for about 1 km until you reach the junction with Chemin du Brodeur on the left.

(4) Take this path, leave the forest and continue straight on until you reach the junction with a tarmac road.

(5) Take the stony path, Chemin des Bourdettes, on the right and follow it, almost straight ahead, crossing a road to reach the junction with the tarmac road, Avenue François Verdie D37.

(6) Continue straight on to enter the woods again. At the next junction, turn left, then right. Cross the footbridge over the stream to reach the railway line.

(7) Follow the track to the left, alongside the railway line. Ignore the level crossing and continue straight on for about 350 m.

(8) Leave the railway line and continue along the same path to the left. Cross the bridge over the Ruisseau le Courbet and take the^first path on the right, which leads back to the Tambourettes car park on Route de Mondonville (S/E).
