For cars, there is limited parking, with a few spaces at the war memorial and a few more at the fork 200 m further on.
(S/E) Facing the war memorial, take the road to the left for about 200 m until you reach the fork.
(1) Go to the end of the cul-de-sac on the right called Chemin des Amandiers.
(2) Continue straight ahead along the path through the vineyards and, after about 600 m, turn left to join theGR®46(white and red markings).
(3) Follow it to the right to reach a tarmac road.
(4) Turn left, leaving theGR®, then right 100 m further on, at the cross. Continue for another hundred metres and take the grassy path on the left through the vineyards. After the bend, continue along the path to the left and join the tarmac road.
(5) Take this road to the right without joining the D18. Walk for about 500 metres, then at the cross, take the path on the right again, which climbs steeply. Follow it to the tarmac road, continue along this road and pass in front of the cemetery.
(6) At the crossroads, continue straight ahead to climb opposite the house towards the Church of Notre-Dame de Montegut.
(7) Continue along the path to the right of the church to go around it, join the road and follow it to the left to return to the crossroads at the foot of the hill.
(6) Take the road on the right, cross Les Ravalisses and, at the next crossroads, continue straight ahead along the path that takes you into the forest. Follow it for a long time until you reach a tarmac road.
(8) Follow it to the right and keep right again at the next crossroads. Once at the inverted Y-shaped intersection, turn right and then left. Pass the houses of Le Pouget and go down the path that follows the edge of the forest. Follow it for a long time until you reach the road at a crossroads (elevation 186).
(9) Take the grassy path on the left for less than 100 metres. At the end, take the road to the left, then turn right about 50 metres further on, towards Gouzy. Follow this road and, at the three-way junction, turn left until you reach the gate of a private property.
(10) Follow the path on the right that runs alongside the property and, at the crossroads in the bend in the forest, take the path on the left that continues through the woods to join a larger path, which you should take to the right. Pass the Pigario house and go down the road to reach the war memorial (S/E).
