Car park in front of the Fonbeauzard village hall.
(S/E) On leaving the car park, head to the right to cross the bridge over the Hers and go down to the riverbank via the steps, then immediately turn left. Continue straight on along the river and, at the end of the path, after about 1 km, join the road on the right.
(1) At the road, leave the banks of the Hers to the left, following the pavement protected by barriers. Pass a roundabout, continuing straight on to join the D15 towards Launaguet and the large roundabout on the right.
(2) At the roundabout, cross the D15 at the pedestrian crossing and, continuing straight ahead, take the D64. Walk for 500 m and take the path on the left which runs alongside a small stream and leads to the Hers.
(3) Cross the river via the footbridge on the left and follow the path through the green area. When the path turns at a right angle, continue to the right to go all the way round the area.
(4) When you reach a tarmac roundabout, turn right onto Impasse de la Plaine, then right again at the end of the cul-de-sac until you reach the roundabout.
(5) Turn left onto Rue Jean Moulin towards the police station. At the next roundabout, carry straight on, cross the car park on the right, then the small park alongside the school, and turn right onto Rue Fignac after passing the playground.
(6) Cross the road, take the grassy path opposite running alongside the houses and join the D59. Turn right until you reach the roundabout and follow the road to the left for about 250 m.
(7) Turn onto the grassy path between two blocks of flats and continue until, at the end, you climb up to the road via some steps. Continue to the right, then, after 200 m, turn left, head up Chemin de la Côte Blanche and, almost at the top of the hill, take the path on the left leading into a woodland.
(8) Follow the edge of the woodland to the left and take thefirst path on the left to reach the road at the ‘Aire d’Accueil des Voyageurs’. Follow this road to the right, then take thefirst left and head up to a small road on the left, near a fire hydrant.
(9) Follow this road, which gradually turns into a track, until you cross the D15 again.
(10) Go round the roundabout with the menhir and take the road opposite, heading towards Castelginest town centre. At the Intermarché roundabout, carry on straight ahead, then turn right just before the stream to cross it via the footbridge 50 metres further on.
(11) After crossing the footbridge, continue straight on to the D59. Cross the road and take the path opposite, to the right of the stream, then follow it straight on until you reach the Hers. Follow the river to the right, go under the bridge and arrive at the village hall (S/E).
