Start in front of Lac de la Tuilerie, Avenue de Lapeyriere in Saint-Jean.
(S/E) Go down to the lake and take the small path that runs along it on the right. At the end of the lake, on the opposite corner, continue along the path to the right to reach Rue de La Rouquette.
(1) At the street, turn left, then immediately right at the roundabout and follow the D77 towards L'Union.
(2) Atthe third roundabout, turn slightly right (towards the Gramont metro cycle path) onto Chemin du Merle, then continue straight ahead until the next roundabout, where you will climb the few steps of the small staircase on the left-hand pavement.
After 30 metres, at the corner of thefirst house, take the grassy lane on the left to reach Rue de L'Autan Blanc and follow it to the right. After a right-hand bend, then a left-hand bend and, in the next bend, at number 17 on the street, take the cul-de-sac on the right.
(3) In the cul-de-sac, after the bollards blocking the passage of cars, turn into the lane on the left and then, after about 100 metres, turn into thefirst right to reach Chemin du Merle.
(4) At the street, turn left towards the roundabout. Take thefirst exit and, after about 30 metres, take Impasse des Hirondelles on the right.
Continue for about 30 metres and, at the bend, take the gravel path on the left.
Follow the path, cross Rue de La Macreuse and continue straight ahead, leaving the playgrounds on your right.
Cross Rue du Grand Duc and continue straight ahead on the same path until you reach the end of Chemin de Malbou.
(5) Turn left at the stop sign and continue right on Route de Bessieres (caution: heavy traffic) for about 200 metres until you find a path that descends to the right into the field.
(6) Follow this path, which runs more or less alongside the Ruisseau de Pichounelle stream through the fields (do not cross the stream), then continue along the edge of the woods and finally through the woods, taking the path on the left before the water treatment plant, to come out onto Chemin de La Perrière in Saint-Geniès.
(7) When you leave the woods, take the street to the right and continue straight ahead at thefirst bend. Immediately after the small municipal plot, take the small path on the left to cross the stream and go up to find a tarmac road, Chemin de La Peyriere.
Continue straight ahead for about 400 metres, then turn left onto Chemin de Saint-Genies until you reach the end of the tarmac road. Continue along the grassy path that follows the edge of the field and rejoins the stream.
(8) Do not cross the stream but continue on the right, follow the edge of the field, leaving the stream on your left, and enter the small wood.
The path through the woods follows the stream more or less closely until it reaches a stone collector.
(9) Follow the green corridor straight ahead, climbing gently up to the road at the Municipal Workshops.
Turn right at the roundabout and then left onto Rue du Muguet until you reach the grassy esplanade, Boulevard des Pensées, which you should follow to the end on the right.
At the end of the esplanade, turn right, go straight through the roundabout and cross the park to reach the banks of Lac de la Tuilerie and your starting point (S/E).
