Salvagnac walks
From Tescou to the west of Sivens
This hike alternates between agricultural areas and the Sivens Forest and is therefore quite shaded for much of the route.
It alternates between marked trails (PR® andGRP®) and unmarked but well-marked passages.
No particular difficulties, apart from the distance. This hike can be enjoyed in all seasons.
Laval and Les Barrières - A walk through forests and valleys
An easy and fairly short hike that will take you from the small village of Laval, opposite Puycelsi, to Les Barrières. The path passes through woods and meadows and offers beautiful views of the Vère Valley at the end of the route.

A pleasant route through the countryside north of Rabastens in the Tarn department. No major difficulties
The route crosses several other routes marked in yellow, so the different markings along the route should only be taken as a relative guide.
With the attached map, it is very easy to follow the route.
Very short variation of the Puycelsi Heritage Trail
A family walk in the Grésigne State Forest, this is a shortened version of the Puycelsi heritage trail. Suitable for young children, with a little help to finish the climbs, and preferably when the ground is dry as there are steep slopes in the undergrowth.
Puycelsi Heritage Trail
From the Conservatory Orchard to the oak groves of La Grésigne, walkers will follow the path the entire way.
The Audoulou stream runs alongside parts of the route, providing welcome refreshment in summer.
Some effort will be required as the route alternates between ascents and descents with very few flat sections.
The Mespel trail extended from Larroque
From Larroque, a pretty village with a beautiful red ochre cliff in the background, we cross Mespel and Puycelsi for a lovely walk through the woods. Along the way, you can see beautiful buildings and local heritage sites.

This is a beautiful route combining countryside, valleys and forests.
Nothing but trails in unspoilt countryside.
There are a few challenging climbs, but they are very rewarding and everyone will appreciate them for what they are.

Almost entirely on trails, in unspoilt natural surroundings.
Some effort is required on a few climbs, but nothing that a motivated walker can't handle.
Between vineyards and forests in Saurs
The first part of the walk takes you through the Gaillac AOC vineyards, followed by a stretch on the edge of the Sivens forest. An easy walk.
Bois de Gradille trail
The view of the bastide town of Castelnau-de-Montmiral can be seen right from the start. Downy oaks and Montpellier maples line the trail between vineyards and views of the Gaillac hillsides. The Gradille chapel is nestled in the woods of the same name.
From Saint-Martin to Pas del Riou
From Saint-Martin to the picturesque village of Mespel, not forgetting a visit to the Chapel of Notre-Dame des Bois. An easy climb to Pas del Riou. Return via the Gasques forest road and the Beudes stream valley.
Around the Vère river from Saint-Martin d'Urbens
Starting from the hamlet of Saint-Martin d'Urbens, this hike alternates between beautiful passages in the woods and more open sections on the limestone plateau, offering beautiful views of the Vère valley. Two-thirds of this loop trail is off the beaten track and unmarked, making it ideal for hikers who enjoy peace and quiet in unspoilt, wild countryside.

The Lagarde Castle Trail offers unspoilt landscapes and lush greenery.
Running alongside rivers, crops and meadows, crossing streams and brooks, this enchanting trail will take you to the Vère-Grésigne leisure centre.
From valleys to hillsides from Bondigoux
Climb up to take in the view, give in to the call of the forest, descend into the valley and enjoy the silence.
This route has two variants for descending from the plateau, which form a circular loop within the circular loop for twice the fun!

Brogne loop
Between the Tarn and Dadou valleys, this is a beautiful hike in the hills of Parisot. On a clear day, there is a beautiful view of the Pyrenees at the end of Chemin de la Brogne. The hike is marked in yellow and maintained by the Association du Patrimoine de la commune de Parisot (Parisot Heritage Association).
The Dolmen Trail and the Englishman's Tomb
This route takes us above the countryside towards Saint-Maffre, south of Bruniquel. On a clear day, it is possible to see the Pyrenees mountain range. Towards the end of the route, you will discover Bruniquel from above.
Bruniquel and Montricoux via Cabéou
A circuit from Bruniquel to Montricoux through the Aveyron valley, which will take you back via the heights overlooking the valley you have just crossed. Beautiful wild trails and a beautiful view of Bruniquel on the opposite side of the river.
Circular around Giroussens and Parisot
Between the Tarn and Dadou valleys, a beautiful hike in the Giroussens Forest and the Parisot hills. The hike partly follows the Giroussens Discovery Trail and the Chemin de la Brogne.
Around Saint-Beauzile
Let's set off to explore a multifaceted environment from the small village of Saint-Beauzile. After passing through dense, wild undergrowth, where we take forgotten paths, the route becomes more open, allowing us to discover gently rolling countryside where vineyards and cereal crops coexist harmoniously. There is a little tarmac, but on very quiet roads.
Long circular loop of Giroussens and Saint-Anatole
This hike will allow you to discover the territory of the commune of Giroussens. Starting from the centre of this medieval village, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Agoût and Dadou valleys. After passing near Saint-Anatole, the route ends with a walk through the forest of Giroussens.
Short loop around Giroussens
This short loop will allow you to explore the area around the town of Giroussens. During this hike, you will pass through the centre of Giroussens, allowing you to discover this medieval village. You can enjoy superb views of the Agoût and Dadou valleys. The hike also passes through the Giroussens forest, as well as near private forests: please keep your dogs on a leash.
Giroussens ridge road
This short hike in the commune of Giroussens, near the Jardin des Martels, offers a series of beautiful views of Lavaur, Ambres and the Dadou valley.
The Giroussens discovery trail
The Giroussens discovery trail allows you to explore the commune of Giroussens (hills, plains) and its varied landscapes (forests, undergrowth, crops, vineyards, moors, etc.). It is regularly maintained by volunteer members of the communal heritage commission.
Campagnac - Itzac: among beautiful stones, vineyards and hillsides
This is an easy hike, ideal for a half-day, which allows you to discover the beautifully restored houses of two small villages and takes you through hills and valleys, ending with a walk through part of the Gaillac vineyards.
The Brogne circular starting from Les Galiniers
Between the Tarn and Dadou valleys, a beautiful hike through the hills and forests of Giroussens and Parisot. Hike marked and maintained by the Heritage Associations of the communes of Giroussens (Discovery Trail) and Parisot. Diverse landscapes: undergrowth, forests, fields, crops, vineyards. The same diversity can be found in the trails and paths: pebbles, earth and grass.
Panorama around Montjoire
This walk offers beautiful 360° views from the Chemin de Ronde de Montjoire. Explore this town, a stronghold of the Cathar resistance, as you walk through fields and along ridge paths.
Trails and woods north-west of Itzac
A pleasant circular route for exploring the Gaillac vineyards, crossing the valleys and hillsides of the Tarn with ease. This hike is not recommended in hot weather as there is little shade.
