Nahuja walks
The Nahuja Pastoral Refuge
This route will take you deep into the heart of the forests of Nahuja and Osseja, with the Nahuja Pastoral Refuge as your destination.
You will walk approximately 14 km over a duration of 4 hours, with an elevation gain of 500 m. You will encounter three trail markings: the yellowPR®, the red and whiteGR®36, and the red and yellowGRP® Tour de Cerdagne.
Jaça de Palau from Palau-de-Cerdagne
A 15% incline for the first two kilometres. The climb is through pine trees. There is a lack of views, but you will be rewarded when you reach the refuge and the Palau sheepfold, which offer beautiful views of Dorres, Angoustrine, Llivia and Font-Romeu. The descent along a pretty stream is pleasant.
The Cami de Nuria Refuge
A beautiful excursion in the hills above the village of Err in Cerdagne, taking the Nuria trail with the Cami de Nuria refuge as your destination.
Discover five villages starting from Bourg-Madame
This cross-border route starting from the hamlet of Hix near Bourg Madame allows you to discover Bourg Madame, Osséja, Palau de Cerdagne and two villages in Puigcerda, Spain: Vilallobent and Age. You may even see the Yellow Train, part of the industrial heritage of the Pyrénées Orientales, during this trip.
Around Estavar
This easy countryside walk around the village of Estavar is very pleasant. It offers beautiful views of the countryside and the surrounding mountains. On this route, which is marked for two-thirds of the way, there is a short stretch of road—not too long but necessary to move from one path to another—with both shaded and sunny sections. The unmarked section is straightforward to follow with a little care. Allow 3 hours at a moderate pace.
Around Saillagouse
A route allowing you to explore the surroundings of Saillagouse (villages, hamlets, the enclave of Llivia) with a high chance of encountering the Yellow Train.
Llo Lion Circular Route
Apart from an interest in a play on words, we found no trace of the feline along this pretty route, which quickly rises above the village of Llo and allows you to visit Sant Féliu in its chapel. The view over Cerdanya is breathtaking and remains so all the way to the Pla plateau. A forest track on a balcony ensures the return to Port de Llo, from where it is easy to reach the narrow streets of the old village.
Sègre Gorges
This route will take you deep into the Segre Gorges (a paradise for Via Ferrata climbers) andtake you to the ridges of the Sant Feliu Chapel with its breathtaking views, and, as the icing on the cake, the hot springs at the end of the route.

Puigmal d'Err via Petit Puigmal de Segre
A very tough climb to Petit Puigmal de Segre, then a steep final ascent to Puigmal d'Err via a ridge path. The descent after the summit is very challenging
There is a good path along the entire route. The border ridge crossing is beautiful.
I recommend having the GPX track on the app or on a GPS device. Fog and clouds on the day of the reconnaissance. This hike is best attempted from late May until the first snowfall.

This hike is inspired by the PR®69 and PR®71 routes of the Pyrénées-Cerdagne Tourist Office, with a few modifications.
Above Égat and Targassonne
A circular walk for a family outing, yet offering a magnificent view of Cerdagne from La Solana (with marmots as a bonus).Allow a good hour for the climb and the same for the descent.
Pic d'Eyne via the Eyne Valley
Hike in the Eyne Valley, classified as a national nature reserve. There are many species of flowers (the best time to do this hike is in June when they are in full bloom), as well as animals typical of our mountains such as marmots and chamois.

On the northern slopes of Cambre d'Aze, you can enjoy views of Eyne, Font Romeu and Carlit in the background.
Even more enjoyable when it has snowed and the slopes are closed.
Le Cambre d'Aze
A challenging climb leading to one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Cerdagne region of the Eastern Pyrenees. Please note: the hike is not signposted but the path is well marked (you should still have a basic sense of direction).

From Superbolquère, a hike that isn’t too difficult but features a technical section from Estany Llarg (Long Lake) via Estany Negre (Black Lake) to the Têt Valley. The path is very rocky at the start, followed by a stony descent!
The Balcons de la Têt and the Yellow Train
A climb with the Yellow Train from Fontpedrouse to La Cabanasse and a beautiful tree-lined descent along the Têt.
A very beautiful hike, partly in the forest, this is a different variation of La Cabanasse to Planès offered by PO Express, with the possibility of finding some ceps depending on the season, and passing under the Gisclard Bridge, a true work of art for its time.
From La Cabanasse to Planès
