Park in the car park (altitude 1,595 m) 400 m after the exit from Eyne.
(S/E) Follow thePR® Sud-Est on a well-marked path which then turns into a trail.
(1) When you reach a forest road, turn left. You will then come to afirst gate for grazing livestock. Continue along this path, following a kind of irrigation channel, and you will come to thesecond gate .
A little further on, you will arrive at a beautiful grassy area with a stream running through it. Be careful of the herd of cows in this area; there is an information sign on the trunk of a tree to the left of the path. Continuing on, you will see an orri on your left.
(2) The path is now very well marked with cairns, so you can't go wrong.
Much further on, cross the stream.
(3) Begin to climb and you will see the Col de Nuria and the Pic d'Eyne, which will serve as landmarks for your final destination. The climb is long and hard, but you will eventually reach the Col de Nuria.
(4) A signpost indicates this. Pic d'Eyne is on the left, and it takes 15 to 20 minutes to reach it. The path is still well marked (cairns).
(5) From Pic d'Eyne, the 360° view is breathtaking. You can see the sanctuary of Nuria and its lake below.
Take the same route back to (S/E).
Note that you can make a loop by returning via the Tour d'Eyne and the Pic du Cambre d'Aze, walking along the ridge (for experienced hikers).
