Meet in front of Angoustrine Town Hall. There is space to park.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, head left along the Route des Pyrénées. When you reach the roundabout, turn right to join the road towards Dorres. Continue to the Dorres wash house. This old wash house, now closed, is visible from the street. The water flowing out of it is warm.
(1) Then, retrace your steps and turn left to follow the uphill Rue du Moutier.
(2) At the end of the street, climb two flights of steps to reach Impasse des Bleuets.
(3) Turn into it and immediately turn left. Follow the path uphill, cutting across theGRP® on the dirt track. Continue to the weather station.
(4) Pass to the right of it and continue up the dirt track to the Abri de Nartigues (view over the valley).
(5) Take the dirt track that runs behind the shelter, heading due north, and you’ll reach a Fork in the road.
(6) Turn right to head back down the stony path to the Sant Marti d'Envalls Chapel.
(7) At the chapel, turn back and take the path on the left which runs alongside the river and winds its way down to the road to Font Romeu.
(8) Turn right onto it and follow it to the church in the village of Angoustrine.
(9) Turn right and head up Carrer de las Orenetes to the cemetery church, a listed historic monument.
(10) Take the dirt track behind the cemetery and turn immediately left 100 m further on to head back down into the village. Follow the path on the right opposite number 12 on Carrer Del Sabater, and make your way gently back down into the village to reach the Pyrenees road.
(11) Turn right onto it, walk along the pavement to reach the town hall (S/E).
