From Lille to the cobbled sections of Paris-Roubaix
This route starts from Lille’s main square and explores numerous cobbled sections. You’ll also ride the Paris-Roubaix route in reverse, covering 7 cobbled sections including the famous Carrefour de l’Arbre. A gravel bike is recommended for this route.
La Canteraine
Starting from the Parc Mozaïc car park, a 15 km walk along the farm tracks of the Marais de la Deule, between Emmerin, Noyelles-lès-Seclin and Ancoisne.
Around the Mosaïc Natural Park in Santes
If you're a birdwatcher at heart, you'll appreciate the observatories in this nature reserve. You can also picnic on the benches under the trees or enjoy a meal in Mosaïc Park (booking required). This route is particularly green and shaded, making it the perfect place to spend a wonderful day with family or friends.

Bois de la Lodge
The Bois de la Lodge route in Santes is a walk comprising a short 1.3 km circular route and a longer 2.8 km circular route.Well-maintained paths, not very muddy even in wet weather.Dogs are allowed if kept on a lead.

Lomme Park in Lille
It’s a lovely little route through an urban park, which may seem ordinary but has its own charm.
Just behind Kinépolis and almost car-free.
Lomme Park is densely wooded, with a lake and some gentle hills. Personally, I really like this spot and often walk there, either forwards or backwards, for the peace and quiet.
Allow between 45 minutes and an hour without breaks, walking at a leisurely pace.
From one bank of the Deûle to the other
The walk follows the Canal de la Deûle, on the towpaths on both banks: La Madeleine to the east and Saint-André to the west. A mixed urban and nature trail between two bridges. Several information boards on the La Madeleine side. The trail is also quite popular with cyclists and runners on the La Madeleine side.

The Prémesques countryside
Prémesques, the starting village, is at the edge of the suburbs, close to Lomme and Pérenchies.This humble asphalt route could nonetheless satisfy joggers and provide plenty of fresh air for walkers. What else could you ask for?If you set off at daybreak, you might see a few partridges fly in, encounter a few rabbits and maybe even some hares.
Ennetières-en-Weppes
Departure from Carrefour de la Vallée in Ennetières-en-Weppes. For a hike on roads and small paved country lanes. Can be completed in two hours if you walk at a brisk pace.
Seclin Canal and Heritage
A lovely walk along the banks of this artificial canal, created by man but returned to nature, where anglers and walkers meet daily, followed by a detour into the town of Seclin.
Wavrin - Don-Sainghin via the lodge
Do you prefer to use public transport, or do you not have your own transport to get to the start of the walk? This walk from station to station will allow you to enjoy some of the most beautiful natural areas of the Parc de la Deûle.Starting from Wavrin station, you can explore the lodge site, walk alongside the Deûle Canal at various distances, and finish with a visit to La Louvière Park before reaching Don-Sainghin station.
Countryside around Pérenchies, Houplines and Frelinghien
A pleasant circular route starting from Pérenchies, along small country roads and a few dirt tracks (muddy in winter). Along the way, you can enjoy blackberries (in season), you’ll come across horses (at the riding centres), and perhaps a heron, storks and flamingos.
This route offers the chance to discover 8 geocaches for enthusiasts.
The Comtesse garden in Wambrechies
At the start of this route, you can visit the magnificent park and garden of the Countess de Robersart, who lived at the château of the same name in the 19th century. This perfectly circular garden contains many listed medicinal and perennial plants.You'll also appreciate this remarkable marina on the Canal de la Deûle.The rest of the route is a leisurely stroll on asphalt through the Wambrechies countryside.
Along the Deûle canal between Wambrechies and Quesnoy-sur-Deûle
An easy 10 Km round trip along both banks of the Deûle canal.

This short walk takes you on a stroll along the Marque, starting from Saint-Vincent Church in Marcq-en-Barœul.
Around Ennetières
Walk around the village of Ennetières along the TGV (high-speed train) line and then the runways of Lesquin airport.Cobblestones and tarmac, ideal when the dirt roads are too muddy.
Around Fretin and Avelin
A walk that can be enjoyed in wet weather, with little mud and very quiet roads.As you leave Pont Thibault, you'll come to the cobblestones of the same name. They are used by the Paris-Roubaix cyclists in early April.
The towpath of the Canal de la Deûle
This walk brings you into close contact with the canal's barges and birds. As the towpath is almost completely tarmac, this walk is particularly enjoyable in winter, when the paths are too muddy and impassable.
From La Louvière to Île aux Saules
Hiking on the Haute-Deûle canal between Don and Ile aux Saules, between Bauvin and Billy-Berclau.In addition to the canal, you'll have the chance to discover beautiful natural areas such as Parc de La Louvière, Espace Chico Mendès and Île aux Saules.

15 Km circuit in and around the Phalempin Forest. Start from the carpark opposite the Phalempin church.

A ride with a few climbs in the Belgian Flanders, all whilst staying in the countryside. You can stop off at Nieuwkerke or Dranouter if you feel like it.
Circular route around Kemmel from Houplines
A short cycle ride in Belgium around Mont Kemmel, without having to sweat on its slopes, via a route that uses only tarmac roads and a few quiet paths. In short, nothing but enjoyment and a few scenic views.
Circular route to Poperinge, via Mont Noir from Houplines
A cycle route combining countryside and main roads, near Mont Noir for want of any other option. Patience and pedalling will see you through the climbs, which are, nevertheless, gradual, with no steep gradients.
Circular route around Ploegsteert from Houplines
A short, very peaceful cycle ride around Ploegsteert, avoiding the steep climbs of Nieuwkerke. The route takes place in Belgium, above Armentières, passing through Le Bizet.
Circular cycling route around Quesnoy-sur-Deule from Houplines
A cycle ride through the countryside, starting from Houplines, passing through Frelinghem and the Deulemont lock, circling Quesnoy-sur-Deule and continuing to Wambrechies, before returning via Lompret.
Circular Wulvergem–Nieuwkerke from Houplines
A short cycle ride in Belgium, starting gently on flat roads. It is only around Nieuwkerke that you will work up a bit of a sweat. The rest of the route is really easy going.

Walks through the legends of the Phalempin Forest
A few kilometres from Lille lies a green oasis: the Phalempin Forest. Although modest in size (670 hectares), this forest is a rejuvenating place for hiking. Despite its small size, the forest boasts great biodiversity and legends. Once upon a time, in the village of La Neuville, on the edge of the Phalempin Woods, there was an inn called Leu Pindu with an unusual sign. It's up to you to discover the rest!
From Frelinghien to the confluence of the Deûle and the Lys
