Start atHouplines secondary school, Rue Roger Salengro.
(S/E) Opposite the cemetery, turn left, then right onto Rue Paul Cézanne and left onto Rue des Glicines. Cross the housing estate; at the end of the street, turn right, then left onto Rue Faidherbe, and head towards Belgium.
(1) Before the top of the bridge over the Lys, turn left onto Impasse des Deux Ponts, then right, and reach the banks of the Lys. Continue along the Voie Verte to the right, towards Frelinghem, and reach the third bridge over the Lys.
(2) Turn right immediately after the bridge and head up towards the roundabout. Continue left onto Rue du Pont Rouge and arrive at a multi-way junction near a small chapel. Turn right, cross the Lys bypass with care, and continue straight ahead to the next junction.
(3) Take a sharp left, then, on the next road, turn right. Cross the M949 with care and head towards Deulemont harbour. At the end of the quay, turn right and take the yellow bridge over the Deûle Canal.
(4) At the bottom of the bridge, following the slope, take the street opposite (Rue Virginie Ghesquière), then immediately turn right onto Rue des Frères Azebrouck. Continue straight ahead, cross the D108 and reach a side road.
(5) Continue to the right along Chemin du Cœur Joyeux, passing the hamlet of the same name. Ignore Chemin de la Fouine, and continue to the right at the following junctions, arriving at the Chapel of Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs.
(6) At the junction of Chemin du Moulin de Wynhem and Chemin Hors La Voie, turn left, then right twice. Follow Chemin du Vieux Soldat, then turn left onto Rue du Grand Perne aux Vieux Soldats, and reach the roundabout on the D308.
(7) Head straight on along Chemin du Grand Perne to Wervicq, then follow the tracks to the right until you reach the D36, at the end of Chemin de Magretz.
(8) Turn left, then right at the next junction (Chemin du Plat Parez). Then turn left onto Chemin des Trois Tilleuls, cross an area of blockhouses, and reach a crossroad.
(9) Turn right onto Chemin des Trois Tilleuls, then left onto Chemin de la Forte Cour, and, at the end of this, turn right. Cross the D108 with care, head straight ahead and reach the banks of the Deûle.
(10) Turn left, then take the next bridge over the Deûle. Walk straight through Wambrechies, cross the railway line, then turn left onto Chemin de la Marotte, and reach the M57, Rue de Messines.
(11) First turn left then right to continue along Chemin Noir, straight ahead, to the end. Turn right (D257), and head towards Verlinghem church.
(12) Turn left onto the M654, then take the second street on the right, Chemin du Bois Parquet, and head to No. 12B. Turn left (Chemin de la Vierge), and continue straight on until you reach a side street.
(13) At the stop sign, turn right, then left onto the M36, and continue to the next junction. Turn right onto Rue Brune and head to no. 91.
(14) Turn left onto Chemin du Pont Ballot, then right onto Chemin de l’Épinette. At the traffic lights, cross the M945, continue straight ahead onto Rue Roger Salengro, and arrive at the car park ofHouplines secondary school (S/E).
