Start from the Parc Mozaïc car park.
(S/E) Head towards the car entrance (to the east), cross the road and take the path straight ahead. At the first junction, turn left onto the path that runs between the sewage treatment plant and the depot. At the next junction, turn left, then right before the towpath. Follow the path, turning right. It joins the tarmac path.
(1) Cross it and take the small dirt track opposite, following it to the right. It then veers off to the left. Follow the path, keeping to the right at every junction, although the path itself veers left at every turn. It eventually joins the tarmac lane; follow this to the right and turn right again behind the small pond. Follow the path through the woodland and then cross a small bridge on the right. Follow this path along the edge of the fields, which turns sharply left and leads to the road.
(2) Take the road on the right. Follow it to the village of Emmerin. At the first junction in the village, turn left into Rue Roger Salengro, then continue straight on into Rue Rouget de l’Isle. Then turn right twice into Rue Leboucq and turn left into a small lane: Cours du Soleil Levant. Leave this as soon as possible via the lane on the right and follow the path that continues from it. At the first junction, continue straight ahead. At the second (oratory), continue straight ahead as well. Pass the hamlet of La Nappe. The path leads to a large barn.
(3) Turn right then left until you reach the road. Continue to the D952 and cross it straight ahead. Follow the path and turn right where it joins a tarmac road. Follow the path, which then turns sharply left. Continue straight on until the path becomes a road, then turn right; at this point, the path crosses the stream “La Becque”.
(4) After La Becque, cross a path running perpendicular and continue towards the houses and farm buildings. The path forms a circular loop to the right, hugging the edge of the gardens of the houses in Noyelles-lès-Seclin. Turn sharply left at the first path, then follow Rue de Cassignie.
(5) When you reach the church, first turn left then right around the church and cross the D952 (Rue d’Emmerin) to take the lane opposite, joining Rue des Saules, then the D145 (Rue d’Ancoisne), which you take to the right. Take a dirt track on the left. Then take the first track on the right (Voie des Chats). Follow this and cross the D952, then take the first track on the left. Follow this to the D63.
(6) Cross the D63 and turn right onto Rue du Cimetière. Before the cemetery, take a path at a right angle to the left. Follow it to Rue de la Pouillerie, turn right onto it and almost immediately turn left onto a path. Follow it in a wide right-hand bend along a ditch, until you reach the D145.
(7) Turn left onto it. Leave it on the right after the bridge over the Canal de Seclin, joining the canal towpath. Continue to the Deule. Take the Deule towpath to the left until the next bridge (D145 again). Turn right and cross the bridge.
(8) Immediately turn right down onto the Deule towpath (the other bank), go back past the riverside houses, then climb the embankment to the left behind the houses. Go round the path on your left at the top and head back down to “La Maison Monblond”.
(9) Turn left, walk past the houses and join the D63.
(10) Turn right, cross the bridge over the Deule. Turn right to go under the bridge and return to the Parc Mozaïc car park (S/E).
