Binges walks

An easy hike through woods and fields as you approach Belleneuve (Côte-d'Or).

A short, easy walk to discover a remarkable tree, "Les Six Filles", and remember the Maquis des Lochères.

This hike will take you through the town's green spaces, around the lake and along the Tille river.

A short walk in Mirebeau-sur-Bèze, in the national forest along the sommières and the Béze river.

Beire-le-Châtel: canton of Saint-Apollinaire (formerly canton of Mirebeau). The village takes its name from the Gaulish word "Beire", meaning "plain". The discovery of a temple dedicated to Januaria recalls the position of Beire-le-Châtel in Gallo-Roman times, at the crossroads of ancient roads where the remains of two Roman roads can be found. In addition, six Gallo-Roman burials were found in 2019.

An easy walk along the banks of the River Norges, crossing the plain south of Genlis and passing by the Longeault-Pluvault pond. The route has little shade and is mostly on stony paths.

Hike through the Bois des Ratières and Bois des Cognés woods where, depending on the season, you will discover these woods and their colours. Pass through Poncey-lés-Athée (unusual chapel) and walk along the banks of the Saône (dam). Return through the meadows.

This walk takes place partly along the Ouche river (Oscara in Latin). It has its source in Lusigny-sur-Ouche. This commune is the guardian of the sources of the Ouche. The village is particularly charming with its stone houses.

This route will take you to Oisilly. You will see a beautiful viaduct, which you can detour to see , the Mirebeau Forest, Cheuge and its drawbridge, famous for the filming of the film "La Veuve Couderc", the Renève Forest and the village, its castle, its two very pretty wash houses, and its rather unusual war memorial. You can also visit the Halte Brunehaut to discover the history of Queen Brunehaut and the exhibition of Gallo-Roman remains found around Renève.

The Ouche has been redeveloped, making it a great place for a walk in spring or autumn. You can collect walnuts in season. A very pleasant bucolic setting where you can watch the birds. Superb village around the Bèze resurgence and its cave, which can be visited by boat.

This circular will take you to the Source du Bué with its curious legend. You can also explore the village, its chapel and its equally anecdotal history, the Templar house, the manor house and the fortified church. In May and June, you can see wild orchids in bloom.
