Go to Beire-le-Châtel and park near the village church on the edge of Rue de Dijon.
Parking is available to the right of the church in Beire-le-Châtel.
(S/E) From the car park, turn right onto Route de Dijon to reach Ruelle de la Dime, to the left of the café on the square. Continue along Ruelle des Amours until you reach the crossroads with Rue du Château. At the crossroads, turn left, leave Place du Charme on your right and head towards the bridge.
Cross the bridge over the Tille and take a look at the castle.
(1) Take the path on the right after the bridge. At the first Y-junction, continue by taking the stony path on the right until you reach a tarmac road.
(2) Follow this road to the left towards Pont de Larmoy or Ferme de la Chaume.
(3) Cross the bridge and immediately leave the Ferme de la Chaume road to continue straight ahead on the white path. Cross a wooded area. At the end of this area, ignore the path on the right and continue straight ahead to the tarmac road leading to Ferme de la Treige.
(4) Immediately take the grassy path on the right towards Spoy. At altitude 256, at the crossroads with a stony path, continue straight ahead. Enter Spoy via Chemin de la Treige.
(5) At the junction with Rue de Dijon, turn right onto the pavement to cross the village. Continue along Rue Basse and, after the Grenouilles bus shelter, take the first street on the right to the stone bridge.
(6) Cross the bridge over the Tille, turn right onto the path and stay on this path until you reach Beire-le-Châtel.
(7) At the first crossroads, continue straight on Chemin de Gemeaux to join the D960 or Route de Fontaine Française. Follow it to the right and stay on the pavement until you reach the pedestrian crossing.
(8) Cross the road to reach Ruelle Quillard. Take this lane to Rue de Viévigne and turn right at the crossroads. Continue straight ahead, pass the town hall, admire the Church of Saint-Laurent and return to the car park (S/E).
