Start and parking at the Arceau school car park, immediately upon entering the village from the south. Parking is also available along the Grande Rue.
(S/E) Head towards the village for 500 m along the Grande Rue.
(1) Take Rue de la Chapelle, which heads downhill to the left. Cross over the River Tille and pass a cul-de-sac on your left.
(2) Turn left onto the stony track and continue straight on, passing several ponds on your left before joining the D960.
(3) Turn left towards the castle. At the roundabout opposite Arcelot Castle, turn right onto the right-hand pavement and follow it for 150 m. At the pedestrian crossing, cross Rue du Colombier to reach the left-hand pavement and walk along the castle’s outer wall until you reach the three-way junction.
(4) Turn left onto the dirt track and stay on this path, following the edge of the woodland. Ignore the paths branching off to the right and left until you reach a pond.
(5) Turn left at a 90° angle. At the three-way junction, go straight on and continue to the next three-way junction.
(6) Turn slightly right onto the stony path which climbs gently. Continue towards the village of Arceau, keeping in the same direction.
(7) Take the first path on the left, Chemin de la Croix. Turn right onto Rue Étienne Bornier and carry on to the junction with the traffic islands.
(8) Turn left. Ignore the first junction, carry on straight ahead and, at the end of this street, turn right to reach the car park (S/E).
