Park in the car park of the village hall, known as ‘l’Asset’, on Rue de la Mairie in Arc-sur-Tille.
(S/E) Set off from ‘l’Asset’ (village hall), walk along the car park towards the town hall, pass the fire station and continue towards the church.
(1) After the church, cross straight across Rue de Genlis and continue along Rue de la Rigole.
(2) On the left is the old mill on the River Tille, which has been converted into a power station. As you approach, you may be able to see or hear the turbine at the leat (if the water level permits). Cross the bridge over the River Tille and immediately turn right onto a farm track. At the end, turn left onto the tarmac road, then turn right.
(3) Cross the bridge over the Ruisseau du Vernoy and continue along this track, which climbs slightly. Pass the yellow markers indicating a gas pipeline and turn right, then immediately left.
(4) At the end, turn right onto the tarmac track and follow it to the hamlet.
(5) At the junction, take the hairpin bend to the left, then immediately turn right onto the farm track. At the end, turn right, then immediately left onto a farm track. The track curves to the left, then after about 300 m, turn right.
(6) At the end, cross the road and take the tarmac track, passing over the bridge over the Tille and past the sewage treatment works. At the end, turn right then immediately left onto the track between the Bressey-sur-Tille ponds. Go straight ahead at the first junction, then, when you reach the stony track, turn right for about 300 m.
(7) Turn left onto a track that leads into the woods. At the end, turn right; when you reach the road, follow this small road to the left (D107) for about 700 m.
(8) Walk past Bressey-sur-Tille Town Hall, turn right and follow the path alongside the cemetery and the castle.
(9) At the end of Rue du Château, turn right and then left onto the path that runs alongside the little river Bassot, next to the white balustrade. At the end, cross the bridge and, on the right, continue along the river, which soon bends to the right.
(10) Then, on the right, cross the footbridge over the Bassot and walk past the school. When you reach the road, turn left, then immediately right towards the tennis courts. Walk behind the courts and past the houses. When you reach the main road, turn left.
(11) Cross the bridge over the Gourmerault, and quickly follow the small path to the left, which runs slightly below the road. Pass the recycling centre, then go under the road bridge and take the farm track opposite. Cross the small bridge via a left-then-right turn and continue along this track to the right.
(12) This track runs alongside an overflow ditch; follow it to the end of the ditch, then turn right onto the path that leads into the copse and follow the river (the Gourmerault). When you reach the grassy area, keep to the right and enter the copse again. Do the same at the other grassy areas and keep to the right along the river.
(13) At the end, turn right onto the bridge, then take the farm track on the left. Pass the farm and turn right onto the small road. After the bend, just past number 15, take a small path on the right marked by barriers to stop motorbikes. Leave the path straight ahead in front of the newer houses, then turn left.
(14) At the roundabout, keep to the right to reach the car park (S/E).
