From Cessey-sur-Tille, take the D 34 northwards, then the small road on the right leading to Vaux-sur-Crosne; after 350 m on this road, park at the first track on the right.
(S/E) Take this field path south-east for 300 metres.
(1) Turn left towards the woodland. Stay on this track, heading east, passing a track on the right, then another on the left.
(2) When the track bends northwards, turn right and join a lane. Follow it to the right for 50 metres and, at the signpost marked ‘les Six Filles’, turn onto the path to the left, then right, following the signs to reach the remarkable ‘Six Filles’ tree.
(3) Retrace your steps to the lane and continue to the right, heading north.
(4) At the end, turn right, then take thesecond path on the left.
(5) At the 228-metre mark, turn right, then take thesecond path on the left. At the end, at the edge of the woodland, take the path on the right (south-east) until you come out onto a good track near La Mangeotte (you can make a round trip to the alpaca farm situated 100 metres to the right).
(6) Turn left onto this path and join a small road at Le Frétois. Note the boundary marker.
(7) Take this small road to the left as far as Vaux-sur-Crosne.
(8) Turn left onto the small road towards Cessey-sur-Tille. Walk along the edge of the Étang de Lochère, then past the Maquis des Lochères memorial, and return to the car (S/E).
