Parking at Belleneuve cemetery on the Belleneuve/Binges road (D109).
(D:A) Head towards the village of Belleneuve, then after 100 m, take the first stony white track on the right and follow it to the village of Arçon, which you reach via Rue du Chaucheu.
(1) After the first two houses on the left, turn left onto Grande Rue d’Arçon. Follow this road up and keep right at the junction, heading towards Trochère, whilst admiring the Sainte-Anne Chapel as you pass.
(2) At the wayside shrine, turn right onto Rue du Pré Closeau. Leave the village and, just after the bridge, take the road on the right. Join thefirst path on the left, just before the first houses.
(3) Take the white track on the left and continue to the D109
(4) Turn left onto the road for about fifty metres, then take the first white track on the right. Stay on this track until you reach the edge of the Bois du Vieux Dijon, where the track becomes grassy.
(5) Continue into the woods and take the first path on the right. Stay on the main dirt track.
(6) At the Y-junction (marker 214), turn right. Continue to the next junction and, at this junction, go straight on, following the path furthest to the left.
(7) Turn right at the next junction (marker 222). Then, at the crossroads where several paths meet, keep to the right. You will see a hunters’ hide on the right-hand side of the path 50 m ahead, followed by two more a little further on. Continue straight on until you reach the ruined Sainte-Gertrude Chapel.
(8) Follow the path that leads out onto the plain and makes a wide right-hand bend. Ignore two paths on the left and continue straight on until you reach the junction with the D109. Turn right to return to the car park at the cemetery (S/E).
