Circular Roquefort to Petite-Sainte-Baume
An easy walk to the beautiful cliffs of Petite-Sainte-Baume around the Grand Rouvière wine estate.
Circular of Bastides in old Roquefort
This hike offers a change of scenery, starting from Les Bastides (a district of Roquefort-La Bédoule) to admire the Chapelle Saint-André chapel and its viewpoint, and above all the old Roquefort, which still has some interesting ruins to visit.
Gorges de la Petite Sainte-Baume
Most of the hike is on wide, clear paths offering beautiful views of Sainte-Baume, the Dents de Roque Forcade, Pic de Bertagne, Garlaban and other mountains that I cannot name in their entirety.
The Tête du Douard and the Gorges de la Petite Sainte-Baume
A challenging hike to the Tête du Douard and its cross, offering a magnificent 360° panorama, then on to the Gorges de la Petite Sainte-Baume, with its lush vegetation and imposing limestone rocks, which you can climb amid the sharp limestone pavement, then discover two caves. A spectacular landscape.
Tête du Douard
This circular hike starting from Gémenos will take you to the summit of the Tête du Douard, via a varied route that favours walking on trails, avoiding tracks as much as possible. This beautiful viewpoint offers a view of the Pic de Bertagne, the Montagne Sainte-Victoire, the Huveaune valley with Marseille in the background, the Bay of Cassis and the Grand Caunet massif. Along the way, you will climb the Gorges de la Petite Sainte-Baume with its unique atmosphere.
From Pas d'Ouillier to Vallon de Gendame
This is a moderately difficult hike that will take you to beautiful viewpoints over La Ciotat Bay, Cap Sicié in the distance and, in good weather, Mont Faron and Mont Caume.
The Aiguille de Gémenos starting from Aubagne
A hike of less than three hours on a wide path from start to finish. A very pleasant outing for groups or families. Fairly easy after an initial steep climb. Keep dogs on a leash.
From Pas d'Ouillier to Roumagoua
This is a variation on one of my old circular hikes , "Circular Walk of Ceyreste via Pas d'Ouillier and Cabanon des Gardes", which is a little longer and 40% new, with magnificent views of Cassis, La Ciotat and the Bédoule countryside.
Mont Gibaou, Bois de la Marcouline
A short but enjoyable hike to discover Mont Gibaou, with amazing views of Roquefort-la-Bédoule and its surroundings, followed by a stroll through the forests of Bois de la Marcouline and a return along pleasant paths.
From the Fond Blanche car park to the parish of Cuges
This is a pleasant hike with very pretty single-track trails. The rest of the route is mostly on DFCI tracks to reach the village of Cuges-Les-Pins, visit its parish church and shops, and return in a circular fashion to the car park.
From Font Blanche to Montounier and back via Grand Caunet
A fairly classic hike that starts at Font Blanche and goes to the Chapelle Saint-André de Juhlans and then the Montounier, a hill that rises to 600 m. The route is particularly worthwhile for its beautiful views of Cuges-les-Pins and Sainte Baume, then the Bay of La Ciotat as you descend towards the Grand Caunet. The chapel has been very well restored, perhaps even a little too well. Don't miss the view behind it. There are some tough climbs along this route, which is not as easy as it looks.
Barres de Font Blanche - Tête de Nige - Vallon de Carafa
Hike through beautiful, semi-shaded woodland, which is very pleasant in summer. Some of the climbs are a little steep but short, requiring a few breaks, especially at the start of the route. Two sections, in the form of treasure hunts, are on very varied terrain, but overall very passable with beautiful views.
From Col de l'Ange to Fenêtre du Brigou
An easy hike to a local geological curiosity: the Fenêtre du Brigou.
Le Jas de Micéau from the Col de l'Ange

Starting from Col de l'Ange, this hike climbs to the summit of Du-Brigou and then Mont Cruvelier, offering magnificent views of the region and the Sainte-Baume mountain.
Pey Gros and Les Auber
This is a very pleasant hike, partly along DFCI-type tracks, but not only. There are also narrow paths where you will have to make your own way. It is quite unique and on other sections you will feel as if you are entering the vegetation. It is truly spectacular. The hike is mostly easy to walk, but some parts are quite steep, which creates diversity with varied and diverse landscapes. The hike is recommended for groups of walkers. The GPX track may be useful.
La Vigie via the Vallon des Gendarmes and the refuges
This is a nice hike to do. Most of it climbs a moderate slope. Once you reach La Vigie, you will find Refuge de Roquefort, La Bédoule and it takes just under two hours to get there at a leisurely pace. At the top, you can stop and enjoy the barbecue and outdoor table. There are beautiful views from the lookout point behind the refuge. There are also some lovely wooded paths with no particular difficulty other than the elevation. The path is very easy to walk on from start to finish.

A long but straight-forward hike overlooking "Baie de la Ciotat" and a beautiful view over Sainte-Baume mountain range and Sainte-Victoire Mountain.
Le Télégraphe de Ceyreste, le Cabanon des Gendarmes starting from Ceyreste
This hike is suitable for groups or families and is of moderate difficulty, but requires a minimum level of fitness given the cumulative elevation gain. It is mostly on wide, easy paths with a few trails to add variety to the route, offering beautiful views of La Ciotat, Pic de Bertagne and Dents de Roque Fourcade. After about two hours of walking, you arrive at the Cabanon des Gendarmes, a very friendly place where you can have a barbecue.
