The Barres de Font Blanche Circuit

(S/E) From the Font Blanche car park, take the first fork on the left. Follow the path marked in white and red. You will come across a small path on the left; continue straight on along the main path. Then you will come across another path on the right; here too, stay on the main path to the left. You will arrive at a very large clearing with several branches.

(1) Turn left onto the DFCI track, which splits into two sections much further on.

(2) Keep to the right. You’ll reach a Fork in the road. Keep right on the same wide GC 107 track. Pass tank number 8, then follow the widest track. Keep going straight on the main track until you reach the next tank, near the D3.

(3) Turn sharply right onto a very wide track. About twenty metres further on, on the left, you will see a container and some tables in a lovely, well-landscaped area. Cross a very wide track on the right and keep to the left, following the path marked in yellow. Cross a wide track on the right and continue straight on until you reach tank number 64.

(4) Continue along the DFCI track. Cross a path at the bend on the right.

(5) Stay on the path, cross a path, then cross another path on the left. Stay on the main track, which curves slightly to the right. Pass a track on the right at a bend and continue along the DFCI track. You’ll come to a very narrow track on the left; stay on the DFCI track, then cross a track branching off to the left.

(6) At the junction, take a wide path on the left. Ignore a path branching off to the right, then another branching off to the left.

(7) You’ll reach a junction on the left, before arriving at a clearing with yellow markings. Turn left at the first junction before the clearing. Cross the DFCI track you’ve already followed, and head back up it on the right, in the opposite direction to the outward journey, until you reach the junction.

(5) At the bend that curves to the right, turn onto a small path branching off to the left. The descent is over slightly loose stones. You’ll cross a path branching off to the left; ignore it, then cross a very wide path which you should follow straight on. Leave it right in the middle of the bend to take a short single track

(8) Turn right onto this single track, through a lovely little woodland on a slightly technical path. You’ll cross a path and take it to the left. Then, cross another path on the right, and continue straight on a little further. Pass a path on the left, and continue along the path. It leads to a three-way junction.

(9) Take the first path on the right. The path is marked in white and red, through a lovely wooded area.

(10) At the Font Blanche stables, you’ll come across a very wide path. Take it on the right, until you reach the large open space and the original fork.

(1) Follow the path opposite, in the opposite direction to the outward journey, to the car park (S/E).
