Start from the car park at Parc de Saint-Pons near Gémenos, a few kilometres from Aubagne, well known to all hikers in the Marseille region.
(S/E) Head towards Le Paradou, to the east, and the old paper mill, which is the gateway to the estate. Cross the road.
(1) Continue towards the old mill.
(2) After a few wooden steps by the small waterfall, which is almost dry at this time of year, take the old wheat path on the right that connected the mill to Cuges-Les-Pins. You will come to a track.
(3) Turn right and walk for 250 metres.
(4) Turn left, pass an old sheepfold and continue to a tree-lined crossroads.
(5) Take the path on the right and you will come to a track. Follow it downhill, join another track and continue straight ahead, heading west. Leave a track on your left (elevation 447) and join another track coming from the left.
(6) Continue down the track to the right. Continue for 1,400 metres until you reach a path on the right.
(7) Turn 180° to the right onto this path, which soon turns into a track. You will come to a crossroads.
(8) Go straight down a very steep and rocky path. You will arrive at the rest area that marks the entrance to the park.
(9) Turn left and return to the initial fork.
(1) Cross the road and return to the car park (S/E).
