Circular starting from Col de l'Ange

A lovely hike with beautiful panoramic views, ideal for groups or families. There are a few narrow passages, so take care. There is nothing dangerous, but be careful on the narrow passages to enjoy this beautiful hike.

Description of the walk

Park in the Col de l'Ange car park on the RN8 between Aubagne and Cuges-les-Pins.

(S/E) Take the path up to the right at the back of the car park. You can also take the GR®98 directly. In both cases, you will reach the junction of the GR® and this path.

(1) Keep right on this wide path to reach a trail junction further up.

(2) Leave this path and continue straight ahead on the trail. You will then reach a DFCI track at a bend. Take it to the left and you will find the GR®98 a few metres further on.

(3) Turn left onto it and follow the red and white markings. This GR® is supported by the DFCI track, then reach a new crossroads.

(4) Leave the GR® and keep right on the track. Follow the almost horizontal path to reach a trail junction.

(5) Take the small path on the left and begin the descent, then rejoin the GR®98.

(6) Take it to the left and follow it to the initial crossroads you passed on the way there.

(1) Turn right either via the GR® or the track to return to the Col de l'Ange car park (S/E).
