Departure from the Fond Blanche car park on the D1, where there are plenty of parking spaces, tables and benches, ideal for families or friends.
(S/E) At the far end of the car park, take the path marked in white and yellow immediately on the left. It is a pretty little uphill path.
(1) Turn right. Cross a wide path and take the left-hand path uphill. Follow this main path until you reach a cistern.
(2) Go to the left of the cistern, marked GC 106.
(3) At the crossroads, take the path that turns left, which is a continuation of the GC 106.
(4) Follow the GC 206 path to the left of cistern number 40. The path descends, turning to the right. After a few hairpin bends, you will reach the bottom of the descent.
(5) Take Chemin de la Roque on the right, which descends straight down until you reach the parish church, which can be seen in the distance straight ahead. Stay on Rue Victor Hugo. Cross Route Nationale D8n. First, see the fountain, then go across the street and take the second street on the left. At the end, turn left until you reach Saint-Antoine Church. Visit it. It is open to the public.
(6) Then continue along Boulevard Gambetta, which slopes downwards. Cross the D8n. Go straight on along Chemin des Écoliers until you reach the cemetery.
(7) Turn right to go around it on the left. Pass the waste collection centre until you reach a path on the left.
(8) Take Chemin de la Blanquette on the left, just before the electricity pylon. The road is also tarmac and leads into this path until you reach the mountain straight ahead. At the end of the path, there are two junctions on the right. The first leads to private property and the second to undergrowth.
(9) Take the path on the right and walk through the undergrowth until you reach the next junction with Chemin Pin Val.
(10) Take the path downhill opposite. Then leave the path and walk along the field on the right. The path continues at the end of the field and turns left into the undergrowth. You will pass a tennis court.
(11) Continue straight ahead on the path to reach a property with olive trees. Take the path on the left to enter the woods again on Chemin de la Grande Vigne. Staying on the widest path, you will come to a wire fence. Take the path on the left that descends, following the fence. Enter the woods again. Stay on this main path as it descends.
(11) You will come to a junction with a path leading off to the right. Follow this path. It is a little narrow and climbs up to the left. Take this path. You will come to a junction with another path. Leave this path and take a path that descends to the right. You will come back to the junction you passed on the way there. Continue to the right to the car, following the same route you took on the way there (S/E).
