Osséja walks
Jaça de Palau from Palau-de-Cerdagne
A 15% incline for the first two kilometres. The climb is through pine trees. There is a lack of views, but you will be rewarded when you reach the refuge and the Palau sheepfold, which offer beautiful views of Dorres, Angoustrine, Llivia and Font-Romeu. The descent along a pretty stream is pleasant.
The Cami de Nuria Refuge
A beautiful excursion in the hills above the village of Err in Cerdagne, taking the Nuria trail with the Cami de Nuria refuge as your destination.
Around Ur
This cross-border route will take you to Llivia. Take the opportunity to make a short detour to visit this Spanish enclave.
Water path in Bolvir
Classic walking roundtrip through the sorroundings of Bolvir, a village in Baixa Cerdanya, Catalonia.
Llo Lion Circular Route
Apart from an interest in a play on words, we found no trace of the feline along this pretty route, which quickly rises above the village of Llo and allows you to visit Sant Féliu in its chapel. The view over Cerdanya is breathtaking and remains so all the way to the Pla plateau. A forest track on a balcony ensures the return to Port de Llo, from where it is easy to reach the narrow streets of the old village.
Sègre Gorges
This route will take you into the Gorges du Segre (a paradise for Via Ferrata climbers) and
to the ridges of the Sant Feliu Chapel with breathtaking views and, as the icing on the cake, hot springs at the end of the route.
Puigmal d'Err via Petit Puigmal de Segre
A very tough climb to Petit Puigmal de Segre, then a steep final ascent to Puigmal d'Err via a ridge path. The descent after the summit is very challenging
There is a good path along the entire route. The border ridge crossing is beautiful.
I recommend having the GPX track on the app or on a GPS device. Fog and clouds on the day of the reconnaissance. This hike is best attempted from late May until the first snowfall.
Hamlets of Enveitg
A beautiful, unspoilt getaway that will allow you to discover three hamlets belonging to Enveitg.
Tour of the Angoustrine Valley
A hike accessible to all, allowing you to discover the Angoustrine valley, which offers beautiful views throughout the route.
The Puigmal d'Err
A formidable and challenging climb, but still accessible despite the altitude of the summit. Thesecond highest peak in the Eastern Pyrenees offers an exceptional 360° panorama that is well worth the effort!
Santa Maria de Belloc Chapel
This route will take you to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Pyrénées Orientales, at the Santa Maria de Belloc Chapel, along a path that exudes well-being.
From Targassonne to Estavar
This route will take you into Spanish territory, to Llívia, the only foreign enclave located on French territory, with a beautiful waterfall at the end of the trail.
Pic dels Moros from Égat
Located in the heart of Cerdagne, Pic dels Moros offers a magnificent 360° view. As a bonus, in good weather, you will be treated to the ballet of paragliders, whose launch area is located just below.
This hike is inspired by the PR®69 and PR®71 routes of the Pyrénées-Cerdagne Tourist Office, with a few modifications.
Above Égat and Targassonne
This is a short loop for a family walk, but it offers a fantastic view of the Cerdagne from La Solana (with marmots as a bonus).
Allow a good hour for the climb and the same for the descent.
Pic d'Eyne via the Eyne Valley
Hike in the Eyne Valley, classified as a national nature reserve. There are many species of flowers (the best time to do this hike is in June when they are in full bloom), as well as animals typical of our mountains such as marmots and chamois.
Access to the Eyne Valley is restricted, and there is an information sign at the start of the hike. Dogs are not allowed.
