Le Vigan (Lot) walks
Circular loop starting from Le Vigan en Quercy
A route taking us up to the heights of Le Vigan en Quercy (Lot-46)
Leaving the village and its narrow streets, we gradually climb along small roads and paths to the hamlet of Gamoutou.
Winding our way from valley to ridge, passing numerous streams and their mills, we discover beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The circular mill trail starting from Lamothe-Fénelon
An easy short loop starting from Lamothe-Fénelon with a mix of roads, tracks and rolling terrain, with a good number of mills along the Ruisseau du Tournefeuille.

Circuit around Chateau de Fenelon
Pretty route starting through mixed woodland with frequent good views, then climbing to a stunning viewpoint over the Dordogne valley. Mostly fairly gently undulating, with one short but steep descent, and then a steep climb just before the best viewpoint. Mainly on well-marked and defined woodland paths with some bits on very quiet country lanes.

Groléjac loop
After taking a quiet road and a forest path, you will admire the church, the castle and then the narrow streets of the old port. Following the Dordogne to the old railway bridge, the greenway takes you back to the starting point.
The villages of Bastit and Meyraguet in a circular loop starting from Belcastel
A beautiful hike from Belcastel to Bastit, returning via the village of Meyraguet. This walk can be done in sunny weather, as much of it is in the forest. You can admire the L'Ouysse valley below. After crossing the road at (2), head towards the magnificent village of Le Bastit on the banks of the Dordogne, overlooked by its castle. The return journey is along a path overlooking the Dordogne. No difficulty, just a slight incline.

With a magnificent overview of the landscapes of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park around Rocamadour, this hike takes you into a breathtaking site at the heart of a thousand-year-old pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin Mary, a major Christian site since the Middle Ages and classified as a Grand Site d'Exception in the Midi-Pyrénées region.
The Pilgrim 2
Offering a magnificent overview of the landscapes of the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park around Rocamadour, this hike takes you into a breathtaking site at the heart of a thousand-year-old pilgrimage dedicated to the Virgin Mary, a major Christian site since the Middle Ages and classified as a Grand Site d'Exception in the Midi-Pyrénées region.
This hike partly follows the previously published hike 1: see link in Practical Information. It is slightly shorter and has a lower elevation gain.
Carsac greenway, the Dordogne and the Montfort site
Walk first along a greenway (cycle and footpath) and return along the Dordogne and Château de Montfort before returning via the greenway.
Short circular around Carlux
A circular loop to the east of the village of Carlux, mostly shaded, with magnificent views, small valleys of remarkable tranquillity, and beautiful Périgord houses. Not to be missed if you have two hours to spare.
Saint-Sozy - Blanzaguet loop overlooking the Dordogne
A beautiful walk along the Dordogne and the surrounding cliffs. The start and finish are in the picturesque village of Saint-Sozy. The outward journey is along the cliff overlooking the Dordogne and offers magnificent views of Belcastel, Lacave, Le Bougayrou and Saint-Sozy. The return trip from the pretty village of Blanzaguet offers access to numerous caves before reaching the banks of the Dordogne, where you can take a dip.
Port de Creysse to Meyronne
A very pleasant route for the whole family, with no difficulty at all. The route is situated in the valley between Meyronne and the Dordogne. You can see the old kiln of a very old tile works, with its manor house at the edge of the hamlet of Laborie; then we arrive at Port de Creysse where, in summer, a boat can take you across the Dordogne. The return journey takes you through walnut groves in the valley.
