(S/E) From the centre of the hamlet of Pech Curet, head towards Gourdon. After 600 m, there is a beautiful viewpoint over Gourdon (north-east).
(1) Turn left towards Fontenille. Continue to the village and cross it, passing in front of the house "la bergerie". Take the path straight ahead. It descends and is stony. Follow it for about 200 m, until you reach the road.
(2) Walk along the road for 900 m until you reach the first house on the right.
(3) Opposite the house, take the leftmost path, which goes straight up. Follow the path for 1 km.
(4) At the end of the path, turn left towards the centre of Aurimont. Take the road on the right towards the square (grass area). View of the Château du Repaire. Continue around Aurimont until you reach the path marked "Parcours d'Aurimont" on the right. Follow it for 500 m.
(5) At the end of this dirt track, turn right onto the castine path and follow it for 800 m until you reach a crossroads with a cross.
(6) Take the dirt track on the left for 400 metres and cross a road.
(7) Take the small, overgrown path directly opposite (the overgrowth only lasts for 60 metres). Continue until you reach the road.
(8) Turn left, continue straight ahead (600 m) to the "La Génibre/Libre" crossroads. Turn opposite and continue straight ahead for 1.2 km. Take the road on the right towards Pech Curet (viewpoint over Gourdon) and car park (S/E).
There are some climbs at the beginning, then it's downhill. A quarter of it is on tarmac.
Departure from the centre of the hamlet of Pech Curet towards Gourdon. At 600m, beautiful view of Gourdon (north-east)... no signs on site. I think we did the route backwards, but that's not a big deal and we ended up doing more than the hike.
