In Lacave, head towards Souillac. At the top of the hill, turn right towards Château de Belcastel and park immediately on the right next to the rubbish bins.
(S/E) Cross the D43 and take the road opposite that goes uphill, passing the water tower on your right. Continue for about 400 m.
(1) Turn left and follow the path until you reach a plateau above the Ouysse river, then turn right. You will come to a junction with several roads and paths.
(2) Cross the Calès road and take the path on the left that climbs slightly alongside the road. This section is in the woods until you reach the village of Bastit.
(3) Shortly after reaching the road, turn right, arrive at a fork, take the path on the left and join a cross path.
(4) Turn left heading due west for just under 600 metres until you reach a Y-junction.
(5) Take the path on the left that descends into the Combe de Bourgnoux to reach Bastit. At the bottom of this path, turn right onto the road. Follow it for a few dozen metres and turn left, then right again. Pass in front of the church and continue along the road to go around the village. Pass close to the Dordogne, with a beautiful view of the Château de Bastit overlooking the village. Continue to the exit of Bastit.
(6) Leave the road, turn left and take the path that climbs behind the château and follow the schoolchildren's path overlooking the Dordogne. Enjoy a glimpse of the Château de la Treyne and then arrive at La Plantade where you join theGR®6.
(7) Turn right onto the D43 until you reach the four-way crossroads at Le Gravier.
(8) Turn onto thesecond road on the left to leave the D43 and arrive at the village of Meyraguet.
(9) Before the church, turn right.
(10) After about 350 m, turn left onto the road going uphill. Continue along this road until you reach the D43.
(11) Turn left onto this road to reach the car park (S/E).
