La Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel walks

This route is suitable for all levels as the outward and return journeys follow the same route, so you can turn back at any time! The starting point is near the Jonquemare pond in Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. Passing through the Longboël forest, you will go through the Parc des Flotteaux, the Guinguette des Écluses, the dam and the Lac des Deux Amants.

Starting from the Clos Démont housing estate, this 9 km hike will take you along various paths in La Neuville-Chant-d'Oisel. You can take a break at the pond on Rue Saint-Autin, in the Lotissement des Beaux Repaires park, or on the Promenade du Clos Démont. Along the way, you will also see the Château Jacques Anquetil. You can shorten this route at any time by taking Rue des Andelys towards the town hall.

A walk with varied landscapes: countryside, forests, abbey and the banks of the Andelle.

A flat walk, apart from a short climb at the start of the route. Sections on paths through fields or along the edges of woods. A short walk through the woods and passing through villages make this a very pleasant walk.

An invigorating hike with remarkable views overlooking the Seine, the Poses-Léry leisure centre and Pont de l'Arche. Pass close to three 17th-century châteaux: the Manoir de Senneville, the Manoir de Canteloup and the Château des Deux Amants, the setting for the legend of Raoul de Bonnemare and Mathilde. Stroll along the Seine for 1,500 metres. Final stroll along the Andelle and the mills of Romilly-sur-Andelle.

A short walk around the village. After crossing the forest, we will return via theGR® 25 to the village, passing in front of the small church.

This walk, through the fields and wooded countryside of the Eure, begins with the “Circular Butterfly Loop” recommended by the Eure Tourist Office. It continues along the small roads passing through the hamlets surrounding Bourg-Beaudouin. This route is particularly recommended during periods of flooding as it deliberately avoids forest tracks and muddy, marshy paths.

A pleasant short hike of about ten kilometres along the banks of the Andelle and the Seine. Crossing the Léry Poses outdoor recreation centre and on the banks of Biotropica.

Walk around Ymare with a short circular loop to extend the route.

A short hike in the Andelle Valley to discover its rich heritage. Two castles, an abbey and the remains of a spinning mill with striking architecture punctuate this route. Pretty wooded paths, particularly the one that runs along the walls of Bonnemare Castle, and the rolling countryside as you leave Douville-sur-Andelle, add to the charm of this walk.

Circuit around the water: lakes, ponds and river. This walk begins by crossing the Seine via a footbridge that passes over the locks and the Poses dam. It then goes around the Lac des Deux Amants and the Lac du Mesnil, where numerous birds, including waterfowl, add to the charm of these lakeside landscapes. Finally, the return to the banks of the Seine takes you past splendid houses built from local stone and faces the chalk cliffs.

The 2 Lovers' hike.

Country lanes and forest paths take you to the semi-troglodytic Saint-Adrien chapel, passing through the village of Belbeuf where you can admire the castle and its polygonal dovecote.

There is nothing special to discover on this short route, just a breath of fresh air. Pass through the fields on the Franquevillais plateau, descend to the Lyons-la-Forêt road via the Sente des Hauts Bœufs to reach the village of Épinay. Then, climb up the path at the edge of the Bois des Chartreux towards Le Faulx, in the commune of Franqueville-Saint-Pierre.

From Fleury-sur-Andelle, the walk through woods, fields and narrow village streets ends as you cross the Andelle via the Passerelle Saint-Victor.

A lovely short walk through valleys, woods, plains and villages starting from Grainville.

This walk follows the Eure on both banks from Pont-de-l'Arche, then crosses the village of Léry and continues into the Bord forest. It returns via Les Damps, offering the opportunity to visit the charming village of Pont-de-l'Arche. Please note that this walk is partly impassable during periods of flooding.

A hike that’s half urban, half woodland. A pleasant route that climbs through the woods below the neighbourhoods of La Grand-Mare, Les Sapins and Le Châtelet in Bihorel. The descent takes you via La Petite Bouverie and Le Longpaon de Darnétal, mainly through the woods.

Near the Bord-Louviers National Forest, you’ll follow forest paths through 4,500 hectares of deciduous and coniferous woodland. The starting point is at Val-de-Reuil station (Paris–Rouen–Le Havre line). Ideal for walkers without a car.

This is a very pleasant walk through charming little villages where you can admire magnificent thatched cottages and other typical Norman houses, or pass through the village of Fontaine-sous-Préaux where the Robec river has its source. You will also pass through woods where you can enjoy a little shade when it is hot. Be careful on the few fairly steep climbs and descents and on some paths that can be very muddy in wet weather (this is Normandy, after all!).

A pleasant, easy route along small roads and country lanes. The rolling landscape of the Crevon unfolds as you reach the charming village of Ry, which owes its fame to Flaubert. The start and finish point, deliberately set at the castle car park, offers the chance to enhance the walk with a stroll around the castle grounds to discover the gardens, the well, the bread oven, the dovecote, the shed housing the old tools, and so on...
