Park in the car park at Fleury-sur-Andelle Town Hall.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, follow the street to the left until you reach thesecond junction.
(1) Turn diagonally onto a tarmac path, continue straight on and pass the blocks of flats on your left. Carry on along the path across the open countryside until you reach a road with a sign for Fleury-sur-Andelle.
Take this road to the right for a few metres, then turn onto thefirst path on the left – which is tarmac-surfaced at the start but turns into a grassy track leading towards the woods. You’ll see a farm on the left.
(2) Turn right just before this farm, pass under the high-voltage power line and enter the woods. Continue along the main track, then pass some antennas on your left. You will reach the RD6014.
(3) Follow it to the left for a few metres, cross it carefully and take the grassy path on the right between the fields. Continue along a small road.
Follow the left/right bends downhill, ignoring the two roads branching off to the right. Cross the road and continue uphill along the road. Pass the Vandrimare sign and reach a crossroads.
(4) Turn right at the sign for “C10 towards Mairie”, passing between the church and Vandrimare Castle. Continue until you are walking alongside the town hall, the school and then the cemetery on your left.
(5) At the bend, turn right onto Chemin Du Grimplet; then, at the Y-junction, head right and take the path on the right running alongside the woodland. Continue through the woodland, follow the grassy path along the edge of the woods, then come to some houses. You’ll reach a road; turn right onto it and follow it for a few metres.
(6) Turn left onto Allée des Courteraies, then cross a road and pass the central reservation with its benches. After the last houses, continue along a path.
Carry on straight ahead between a field on the left and a hedge on the right. After the fields, take the small wooded path and head down towards a road.
Follow it to the right, reach a roundabout and head straight on towards “Charleval D1”. Carry on until you cross the Andelle.
(7) Go straight on at the traffic lights, follow the Andelle on your right and ignore theGRP® path which branches off to the left. Continue straight on until you reach the junction with the signpost for “le Tronquay”.
(8) Turn left onto Rue de la Forêt, then pass the cemetery on your left; ignore the side paths and continue along the RD169. Pass the sign marking the exit from Charleval, then carry on straight ahead until you reach thefirst junction at the edge of the forest.
(9) Turn right onto the forest track, go through a barrier, then follow this track for 1 km until you reach a junction.
(10) Turn right, pass the fish farm, then turn left onto Rue Planche Botté. When you reach a wayside cross, turn right and you’ll come out onto the RD321. Follow it to the right for about ten metres.
(11) Turn left onto Rue de la Maisonnette, cross the railway line and, after the last house, continue along the grassy track. Carry on through the woods and then across the open fields until you reach a farm. Head left towards the crossroads.
(12) Cross over opposite the central reservation and follow the lane marked with a ‘No vehicles over 3.5 t’ road sign. Continue downhill, then at the next junction, turn left onto Chemin du Grand Thuit. Carry on straight ahead at the next junction. Continue downhill until you reach the houses.
(13) Turn sharp right, then go under the railway line. At the RD321, first turn right then left onto Impasse Saint-Victor. Follow its zigzags, then continue along a track that turns 90° between the pastures. Carry on until you see a bridge.
(14) Go under the bridge, then continue along the path which winds its way alongside the Andelle. Cross the river via the two successive footbridges and join a narrow lane.
(15) Turn right, then immediately left onto Rue Augustin Léonard. Walk past the business park on your left and carry on straight ahead until you reach the junction with the RD6014.
(16) Cross it, take Rue Émile Marquet and head towards the town hall (S/E).
