Bennecourt walks

This hike will allow you to discover numerous panoramic views of the Seine hillsides and theGR®2trail between Sainte-Geneviève-lès-Gasny and Giverny. Countryside and forest will also be on the menu. You will also come across several churches and wash houses.

During your walk, you will follow the Seine and one of its branches, as well as waterways that are home to various species of birds. A short tour of the village of Guernes is also planned.

A mainly forest route west of Mantes-la-Jolie. Along the way, there are several remarkable trees and a few limestone grasslands, which constitute a unique natural heritage as well as a great opportunity to take a break.

Later on, you will discover the Château de Villarceaux and its gardens. Allergy sufferers will complain about having to walk along the road for a while, which unfortunately cannot be avoided. On the other hand, you will discover some magnificent places and perhaps, like us, you will be lucky enough to see a deer leaping through the wheat fields.

This short hike allows you to discover the very hilly landscape between Ambleville, Bray-et-Lû and Chaussy. The view stretches far and wide and offers some superb panoramas. When the Vexin region feels like the Auvergne!
