The route starts from the car park of the media centre near the Bennecourt nursery school at 6ter Rue de l’Église.
(S/E) As you leave the car park, turn left onto Rue de l’Église towards the bridge. Turn left onto Rue de la Nourrée, which curves to the right. At the end of this street, continue along the path that extends it and leads to Rue de Lombardie. Carry on along the path opposite until you reach Rue de la Charrière.
(1) Head left, then continue left along Rue du Temple. Ignore a path on the right, then take the Chemin Rural des Baudoins on the right. At the junction, turn left and ignore the side paths.
(2) At the T-junction, turn right. Follow the red and white markings and pass under a high-voltage power line.
(3) At the next Fork in the road, turn left following theGR®® and ignore the side tracks.
(4) Cross the Chemin routier des Coudrayes. Continue straight ahead on the path which will veer to the right (red and white markings) through the woods.
(5) When you reach the road, take the steps on your right to take a break by the orientation table. Then cross the road carefully. After about 400 metres (past a water tank), take the path on the left between two fields, which will run alongside a hedge on the left a little further on.
(6) Cross Rue des Fauconniers and take Chemin Sainte-Geneviève à la Roch. Turn left into Rue Robert Mennessier, then right into Rue de la Prairie. Turn left into Rue de la Glacière. Take thefirst right, walk past the foot of the church, turn left and you’ll immediately reach Grande Rue.
(7) Follow the road to the right and turn left straight away. At the junction, turn right into Rue de l’Eau.
(8) Cross the bridge over the Epte and enter Sainte-Geneviève-lès-Gasny.
(9) Walk past the church and carry straight on. Cross the D5 with care and follow Rue de la Chapelle. Ignore the road leading uphill to the right. Turn left into Rue de la Vigne Blanche.
(10) Before the cemetery, take the hairpin bend to the right onto theGR®®2, which climbs quite steeply. Follow the red and white markings, ignoring any side paths.
(11) At a T-junction, you’ll find a signpost marked with red and white markings. Leave the main path, which turns right, and turn left, then head downhill.
(12) At the junction, turn right.
(13) At the next junction, carry on straight ahead on theGR®®2(the second path from the left), which turns left. At the T-junction, turn left and take a stony path that descends quite steeply. At the junction, turn right.
(14) Leave theGR®® and turn left onto the Chemin des Mayeux. Cross the D5, heading left, and turn right onto the D201.
(15) Take the first tarmac track on the right. At the end of the track, turn left.
(16) At the next junction, head right (the path leading south-east on the map no longer exists) then left a little further on. Carry on, ignoring any side paths, until you reach a bridge and cross a branch of the Epte. Ignore the path immediately on the left. Leave Rue du Cas Rouge on your right, then turn left into Rue du Port and continue straight ahead into Rue de la Mairie. Walk past the church.
(17) Turn right into Rue des Femmes Fraîches, then left into Rue Gabriel Girodon. After about 100 metres, take the first path on the right.
(18) At the next junction, head to the right, then take the first path on the left. Continue along this path, which passes under a high-voltage power line, ignoring any side paths. Cross the small Bois des Bruyères and carry on straight ahead.
(19) At the junction, turn right onto Chemin des Corbrans. At the end of the path, continue left onto Rue de Limetz until you reach the church.
(20) Turn right onto Rue de l’Eau, then left onto Promenade des Tilleuls until you reach a roundabout. Cross the roundabout. You have now returned to the starting point (S/E).
