The trail starts at the car park of the Foyer Rural on Chemin de Saint-Martin.
Coming from Limay on the D148, you will find it just after the entrance to the town and just before the water tower, on the right-hand side.
(S/E) When you leave the car park, head towards the centre of the village and take the first left, with the water tower on your right.
Cross the D148 and take Rue des Clos. Turn left onto Chemin des Hèzes. Ignore the Sentier des Hèzes on your left.
(1) At the next bend, leave the street and continue straight ahead on a path.
Ignore the paths on the side and continue to a road. Go down this road on the right until the next bend.
(2) At the bend, take a path on the right. Continue along Rue des Godes Cirons, with the Seine on your left.
Pass the first small grassy path on your right, then turn right onto the alleyway called Rue aux Talbots, which climbs towards Rue des Caillouets, and turn left.
Ignore Rue André Mendon on your left. Then turn left onto Ruelle de l'Église. Just before a metal gate, turn right onto the small passageway that leads to the church.
(3) Go down to the left into Rue de l'Abbé Grouet. Cross two bridges before reaching the banks of the Seine.
(4) At the memorial, turn right and follow the river.
(5) Just before the dam, take the hairpin turn to the right onto the road that leads to the Herville bridge on the left. Cross the bridge.
(6) At the crossroads, turn left towards the Flicourt farm, then left again after the bend.
(7) At the fork just after, take the path on the right (yellow signpost). Continue along this path which runs alongside a lake on your left. Ignore the paths branching off to the side.
(8) At the crossroads, turn right onto a small road. After a green gate, climb up the embankment (yellow signpost) to reach the observatories. After the last observatory, go back down to the road and continue to the next crossroads. Cross the road and go left for about 40 metres.
(9) Take the path on the right (yellow markings). It turns right a little further on. At a fork, continue straight ahead. Ignore the side roads. Pass the cemetery on your right.
(10) Continue along this path (yellow markings) which turns right towards houses.
(11) Opposite the school, turn left onto Rue du Bout d'en Haut, then right onto Rue Marcel Perraud.
(12) At the intersection with the town hall square, turn left onto Rue Émile Ledebt. Pass the water tower on your right and continue until you reach the starting point (S/E).
