The starting point is 15 Rue des Baronnes in Rosny-sur-Seine: car park near the nursery school. You can also park on Rue de la Grande Maison.

(S/E) When leaving the car park, take Rue des Baronnes. Turn left into Rue de la Vallée des Prés. Then turn right into Rue de la Grande Maison and cross it to follow the Ru de Bléry. Then turn left into Allée des Lilas (5th and last small bridge).
(1) At the end of this alley, turn right and cross Rue de Villiers to take Rue de Lommoye on the left. Cross Rue Roger Salengro. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Rue Jean Jaurès.
Go under the A13 motorway bridge.
(2) At the end of the street, take the path opposite that leads up towards the forest. At the entrance to the forest, continue straight ahead along Chemin des Mouches (wooden sign).
(3) Turn onto the first path on the right towards Clos Brocard (wooden sign). Follow this path (yellow markings) which, after a flat section, descends significantly to the D114 road. Ignore the paths coming from the right or left. After passing under a high-voltage power line, at the fork, head left (yellow markings).
(4) Cross the road and take the path on the left after the information point. At the fork, turn left. At the next junction, continue straight ahead.
(5) Turn right at the edge of the forest. Follow this path to Carrefour d'Ivry (do not take the path on the right).
(6) Turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach Carrefour du Roi.
(7) Then take the first path on the left. Continue straight ahead (north-west), ignoring the first junction (grassy path) at forest plots 40A and 41A. At the next junction (Carrefour du Quinconce), turn right. Ignore the first junction and continue to Carrefour Marie-Thérèse.
(8) Take the path on the left. At the crossroads, take the third path on the right (north-northeast) and follow the sign for Rolleboise written in yellow on a tree. Near the A13 motorway, first turn left then right and cross the bridge.
(9) Take the path on the right, which heads east between two fields. Pass under a high-voltage power line.
At the transformer, continue straight ahead.
(10) After about 75 metres, turn left (forest barrier).
(11) After about 100 metres, turn right onto a small path that runs alongside the fence of the old forest house. At the end of the path, turn left and continue straight ahead to the kiosk (viewpoint).
(12) At the kiosk, take the path on the left (yellow markings). Zigzag and then go straight ahead to the intersection you have already taken.
(11) Continue straight ahead until you reach the forest barrier.
(10) At the T-junction, turn left. Go through a forest barrier and continue straight ahead. At the first fork, after about 20 metres, continue straight ahead (do not take the path that descends to the left). After about 30 metres, leave the main path by turning left into a meadow. Walk down the meadow and, after 250 metres, turn right to rejoin the main path (Chemin de la Villeneuve).
(13) Continue along Chemin de la Villeneuve. The path veers to the right, between the railway line and the Bléry stream. At the crossroads, turn right to cross the stream and take Rue de la Vallée des Prés. Turn right into Rue des Baronnes to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
It's usually very quiet during the week! Motorised vehicles are normally prohibited in the forest... but you sometimes come across a few idiots at the weekend...
