GR®2: white and red markings
(S/E) With your back to the church, turn left onto the D313, Rue de Magny en Vexin, then immediately right onto Rue des Huit Portes. You are now at the end of the street at the start of theGR®2variant.
(1) Set off on theGR®2variant towards Giverny. Walk along Île de l'Horloge, then join the Sente de Vernon crossroads at a place called Manitôt.
(2) Turn left and climb the path to enter the Bois Garenne. Reach thePR® crossroads at an open plateau.
(3) Turn right, begin the descent and arrive at Bout de Giverny.
(4) Turn left, go uphill, then turn right and continue to a crossroads at Val au Bois du Gros.
(5) Turn right and join the C3 road. Keep to the right and enter Giverny. At the fork, turn left. Continue along Rue Hélène Pillon and, at the end, take the path uphill on the left. After a few bends, you will reach a new crossroads in the Bois du Gros Chêne.

(6) Leave theGR®2here and turn left onto the yellow-markedPR®. At the next crossroads, turn left, then a few metres further on, turn right and head north-west along a clearing, the Mare de Cossy, at the level of a high-voltage power line. Continue along the edge of the woods until you reach a road. Turn left onto it and continue to the Réserve crossroads under the high-voltage power line.
(7) Take the wide path on the right. At the three-way junction that follows, continue straight ahead, crossing the Mare de Giverny and then Fond des Marettes. At the three-way junction, you will find aPR® trail. Take it to the left for a few metres and you will arrive at the Bois de Garenne junction that you passed on the way there.

(3) Turn right and retrace your steps to reach the Manitôt crossroads, which you also passed on the way there.
(2) Continue straight ahead to the D5, leaving theGR®2variant on your right. Cross it carefully, then take theGR®2and follow the right bank of the Seine. Shortly before the bridge, turn right to reach Rue des Combattants d'Indochine. Cross the D5 carefully and take Rue de la Ravine opposite. You will then return to the initial crossroads.
(1) Retrace your steps to return to the car park near the Church of Saint-Nicolas de Vernonnet (S/E).
