A lovely hike to enjoy in any season, offering a chance to discover the Grenoble region, the Drac Valley and the eastern cliffs of the Vercors (Pic Saint-Michel, Deux Sœurs, etc.).

A beautiful hike, accessible in all seasons, but it is best to avoid the heat of summer. Discover the Gresse valley and the Montagne d'Uriol with its almost Mediterranean vegetation.

A magnificent hike 35 km from Grenoble, with no difficulty, offering 360° views of the surrounding mountains. The climb to this summit is a magnificent hike through the mountain pastures (one of the largest in the region).

Le Pérollier is a small peak on the ridge separating the Lacs de Laffrey and the Alpe du Grand Serre resort. This circuit offers unobstructed views of the lakes and the Taillefer, Grand Armet and Belledonne mountain ranges. Note that in June, the meadows are particularly flowery (blue gentians and anemones, among others).

Make no mistake, this short circuit is a real hike. The climb is steep in places but fortunately short, and the passage over the Ferrière ridge is a real treat (you are almost directly above the Gresse valley and the village of Miribel Lanchâtre). The view from the summit is well worth the detour.

This is a magnificent circuit in the Belledonne massif that will take you to the shores of the Robert lakes, a site well known to skiers who visit the Chamrousse resort. The difficulty is not technical, but should be taken into account due to the steep slopes in places and the particular nature of this mountain range, which is often shrouded in fog.

After a few modifications, I am once again offering this enjoyable hike on the hillsides, which will allow you to discover unexpected aspects of the A51 motorway as well as interesting views of the eastern side of the Vercors. You will also discover small hamlets in the south of the Grenoble metropolitan area.

This hike allows you to discover mountain hamlets that were once abandoned and are gradually coming back to life.

Here is another route for climbing Moucherotte, a little more challenging than the one starting from Lans-en-Vercors. The elevation gain is a little greater and the mountain trail requires good footwear. The 360° panorama is just as sublime and the view over the Grenoble basin is just as impressive.

This short hike allows you to discover the local heritage: the site of the old gypsum quarries, the hamlet of Saint-Sauveur and the ruins of Saint-Michel monastery. It also offers a breathtaking view of the Drac valley, the Vercors and the Grenoble conurbation.

A short walk suitable for all seasons, offering a chance to discover the many facets of the Grenoble conurbation. The route takes you through the village of Saillant du Gua and its numerous hamlets, the Gresse Valley and a little-known waterfall, which usually flows in spring when the snow melts. Please note that this walk is easily accessible by public transport via TAG bus route 17; get off at the terminus.

This is a short hike to discover the eastern slope of the Vercors, best done after the snow has melted as some sections can be very tricky. You will pass under the cliffs of Grand Veymont, catch a glimpse of Mont Blanc and enjoy a panoramic view of this magnificent slope of the Vercors massif with its impressive cliffs.

A route of moderate difficulty that takes you from the small village of Prunières to a magnificent panoramic view of the Trièves and, beyond, the Oisans and the Obiou massif.

An easy hike, best done in spring or autumn. This route will allow you to discover this corner of the Trièves with its snow-capped mountains in spring, as well as the village of Clelles. Throughout the route, you can enjoy views of the Vercors with Mont Aiguille nearby, the Obiou and, in the distance, the Oisans massif.

This beautiful route in the magnificent Oisans massif takes you from the wild Vénéon valley to the small Alpe du Pin refuge, passing by the two magnificent waterfalls of Mariande and Froide Pisse. The crossing between the two valleys offers a beautiful panorama of some of the peaks of the Oisans.

I recommend this hike as the perfect option for the winter months when snow prevents us from heading to higher altitudes. Located on the outskirts of Grenoble and accessible by public transport, this route will take you through the villages of the Grenoble metropolitan area and offer some views of the surrounding mountains.

This magnificent circular route, in the Beaumont and Valbonnais mountains, towards the sanctuary of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette, offers breathtaking views of the Oisans massif, the Dévoluy, the Obiou, the Matheysine and, further afield, the Vercors massif. ⚠️ 20/05/2026: This hike should be avoided in winter. Some sections are comparable to mountaineering.

A short walk best saved for the off-season. This route allows you to explore this part of the southern suburbs of Grenoble, with a few views of the surrounding mountains. It is a very easy walk, following good paths that alternate between wooded and open areas.

This route runs mainly through woodland and can be enjoyed in all seasons. You’ll discover a viewpoint over the Vercors massif, the Gresse valley and the Drac valley with the Notre-Dame-de-Commiers reservoir. You’ll also pass close to the Château de Paquier, which has been converted into a guesthouse.

This hike is a real treat for the eyes, with the summit of Beauregard in the Connex offering a sweeping panorama of southern Isère and all the surrounding mountain ranges, particularly the Laffrey Lakes. This circular route also allows you to discover the small, typical hamlets of the Matheysine region.

I recommend a beautiful, easy hike – the only challenge being the elevation gain – to one of the finest panoramic views in the Matheysine region. Indeed, the summit offers a 360° view of all the mountain ranges of southern Isère as well as the Grenoble region.

An easy hiking version of this climb to the Grand Rocher. Once past the refuge, the route follows the Crêt Luisard ridge, where the view is breathtaking in all directions, and you can even see Mont Blanc from the summit.
