The hike starts from the small car park behind Brié church.
(S/E) Take the departmental road towards Vizille until you reach a path that descends to the left.
(1) Take the path that descends to the left and, at the bottom of the descent, join a road.
(2) Turn left. At the first bend, leave the road and continue straight ahead on a good path. Keep going in the same direction (north-east) until you reach an intersection with the Brié road, where there is an oratory.
(3) Turn left onto a small tarmac road that goes uphill.
(4) After climbing for a little over 600 metres, leave the road and take the path on the right. 100 metres further on, cross the departmental road (take care) and follow the path opposite, continuing to climb.
(5) When you reach this intersection, take the second path on the right, which continues to climb along the ridge. You will reach the highest point at a place called Le Laisan. Enjoy the view.
(6) Return to the previous crossroads.
(5) Turn right, after a short descent of about 50 metres, take the path on the left. This continues along the ridge of the Malbouchet Forest, then begins the descent towards the district road.
(7) Cross the departmental road (take care) and take the path opposite, which climbs slightly then descends towards the village. Return to the starting point (S/E).
A short, well-marked hike, apart from the steep and slippery descent at the start with lots of leaves. The rest was perfect, thanks to the trail marker.
