Quevillon walks

Starting from Quevillon, this route is located in the Roumare Forest, where you can admire pheasants, wild boars, roe deer and deer in the wild, crossing a path or forest road, and enjoy the sound of pheasants calling as you walk.

A beautiful ten-kilometre walk in the heart of the Roumare Forest with the opportunity to discover the arboretum and the animal park. Ideal with children in the summer. Take this walk in the early afternoon in spring or summer, when the Allée forestière du Loup faces the early afternoon sun and offers magnificent views between deciduous trees (on the left) and conifers (on the right).

Hike from the forecourt of Saint-Martin-de-Boscherville Abbey to Montigny and Hénouville along forest paths and trails. Then, descend through the marshes to walk along the Seine and return to Saint-Martin via trails, paths and small roads.

Discover Montigny, its village, rural and forest heritage, as you wander through the streets and marked forest paths of the Roumare National Forest. During your walk, you will have the opportunity to admire an 18th-century castle and a traditional farmhouse called the "Maison Rouge". A few steps further on, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the Sangliers pond. Then, on the Allée Verte, discover one of the curiosities of this trail: a megalithic stone believed to have been used for druidic rituals.

The pretty village of Mauny has a rich heritage with its imposing castle and numerous old houses. The forest covers half of the route and contrasts with the open agricultural plain. The Grotte du Maquis, a sandstone cross and beautiful trees also line this pleasant route. A shorter version of the yellow marked route starting from Barneville-sur-Seine, retaining its main points of interest but removing the two sections on the fairly busy road.

A short route with varied landscapes: the charming village of Mesnil-sous-Jumièges on the banks of the Seine, then a short detour into the forest, passing near the Manoir d'Agnès Sorel, followed by a walk along the lake opposite the leisure centre, and ending through marshes and orchards along the towpath.

A pleasant walk along the Seine, starting with views of pretty villages and cliffs on the opposite bank. This route also passes through the Roumare National Forest and several villages. This hike offers views of no fewer than seven castles and manor houses, some of which are visible on the way back along the Seine.

The A.F.S.S.O Pas à Pas recommends this walk. It passes through three villages: La Trinité-de-Thouberville, Caumont and Saint-Ouen-de-Thouberville. You will pass the small town hall of La Trinité-de-Thouberville, then its church, the châteaux in Caumont, and you will finish at the church of Saint-Ouen-de-Thouberville. Along the route, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Seine. Take care when crossing the RD675.

A.F.S.S.O Pas à Pas recommends this route in the La Londe National Forest, which allows you to discover several caves on a pleasant walk. A word of advice: do not venture into the caves, wear good shoes and bring walking sticks.

Starting from Château Robert le Diable, this walk invites you to discover the natural riches of theLonde-Rouvray State Forest. Amidst historical ruins and wooded landscapes, the route offers a gradual immersion in a peaceful and unspoilt environment, ideal for getting away from it all for a few hours.

A stroll along Rouen’s quays, which have been converted into a promenade, between the Presqu’île Rollet and Île Lacroix, with a detour through the old town.

This route is suitable for experienced hikers as there are significant elevation changes and it can sometimes be difficult to find your way through the maze of forest paths in the Londe Forest. The GPX track and app will be useful. Along the way, you will discover the ruins of Robert the Devil's Castle, part of the imposing Londe Rouvray National Forest, the Dix-Sept Piles Viaduct, the Gothic church of Moulineaux and a pretty view of one of the meanders of the Seine.

The route runs alongside the Seine twice, overlooks it at another point, crosses the village and loops back through the forest. All types of terrain: 2.5 km of quiet asphalt road in three sections, forest tracks and small paths.

Set off to explore the Seine Valley and its river crossings. This route takes you, via the Jumièges circular route, across four of the ferries that cross the Seine.

Between the Seine and the forest, this walk starting from Duclair offers a wonderful immersion in the valley’s typical landscapes. The route first takes you through the Trait-Maulévrier forest, where shaded paths wind their way between beech and oak trees, offering peace and coolness. This introductory loop hike takes in the western slopes of Rouen (Fond du Val - Le Cotillet) as far as the Portes de la Forêt Verte small park. The route is largely an out-and-back, so you can shorten the walk if you need to, depending on your physical abilities.

Hike on either side of the Château de Saint-Pierre-de-Varengeville. On one side, wooded paths lead to the old Sainte-Anne chapel near La Seine and on the other, the plains lead to the Austreberthe valley. Along the way, the valley at the exit of the hamlet of Candos offers some very pretty views.

Ranked among the largest state-owned forests in Normandy, it invites you to escape and discover varied landscapes, shaped by the seasons and history. Nestled on the heights of the Seine Valley, the Grand-Couronne walk to the hamlet of Les Essarts, featuring a visit to the fascinating troglodyte caves of Orival, offers an outing combining nature, history and spectacular scenery. Amidst lush forests, limestone cliffs and panoramic views of the river’s meandering course, this route invites you to discover a heritage that is as much natural as it is cultural. The caves of Orival, carved into the rock over centuries, bear witness to a rich and mysterious past, adding a touch of wonder to this accessible and exotic walk.

After leaving the centre of a pleasant little village, cross a wood and a plain, passing through two hamlets. Alternate between small roads, pedestrian side streets, paths and trails.

The walk through the Forêt de la Londe-Rouvray, starting from the Quartier Faidherbe, offers a real escape into nature on the outskirts of the town. With its forest paths, peaceful clearings and the gentle rolling hills typical of the Normandy plateau, this route invites you to relax and explore.
