The walk starts from the car park at Place Michel Touyé in the village of Canteleu. It is also possible to take public transport. TEOR line 3, get off at the Touyé stop.
(S/E) Leave the car park via Rue Raymond Botté until you reach the old Route de Duclair.
(1) Turn left onto this road and, after about a hundred metres, turn right onto Impasse du Clos aux Poines until you reach the entrance to the forest.
(2) Do not follow the housing estate; instead, take the path on the left called Route Forestière de Saint-Jean until you reach the junction with the D94.
(3) Follow it to the left, joining the D86 (take care). Follow it straight ahead, keeping to the left, and cross Montigny to the château.
(4) Pass in front of Montigny Castle, turn right and, after the church, turn right onto Route de La Vaupalière until you reach the hamlet of L’Essart. Stay on the cycle and footpath running parallel to the road.
(5) Turn right onto the street and, after about 100 m, turn left onto the first forest track. After about 500 m, continue along the track to the right for 120 m, then turn left for 130 m, then right for 300 m and left until you reach the junction with the Chemin du Rousseuil.
(6) Take this track, heading right. After 800 m, turn right onto the straight Route du Renard and continue to the Carrefour Arsène.
(7) Turn left onto Route Forestière des Coteaux and continue to the roundabout at the entrance to Canteleu.
(8) Turn right, heading due west, onto the fitness trail behind the fire station. Walk for about 400 m.
(9) Turn left onto Rue Émile Zola, pass the nursery school and head for the roundabout at Rue de la Buéguinère.
(10) Turn right and follow Rue de la Béguinière to the junction with Rue Saint-Gorgon.
(11) Turn right onto this street and return to the original junction.
(1) Continue straight ahead along Rue Raymond Botté until you reach the finish at Place Michel Touyé (S/E).
