Description of the walk

Parking and departure from the town hall car park, Rue du Général De Gaulle.

(S/E) Exit the car park on the right and take Rue Gustave Quilbeuf on the right. Continue to the second right after crossing the bridge over the Cailly.

(1) Turn right onto Rue Jean Jaurès and continue to the T-junction at the end of the street. Turn right (Rue Aristide Briand) and immediately left onto Chemin de l'Étrille. Continue for 110 m until you reach the first path on the left (be careful on the right-hand side as this is private woodland). Turn left, with the water distribution station on your right, and continue to the T-junction.

(2) Turn right, go up the path for about 300 metres (be careful on the right-hand side, it is private woodland), until you reach the first turning on the left. Turn left and, at the crossroads, ignore the two paths on the right-hand side. Continue straight ahead on the path downhill to the road (Rue de l'Abbaye).

(3) Cross the road carefully and turn right until you reach the second set of traffic lights. Turn left onto Rue des Bernardines, then continue straight ahead onto Rue de la République, with the football pitches on your left. Cross the bridge over the River Le Cailly, with fixed barriers, and go up the footpath to the T-junction. Cross Route de Dieppe at the pedestrian crossing slightly to the left and turn right for about 60 metres.

(4) Turn left onto Rue Georges Brassens, ignore the no entry sign opposite, then take the street on the right for about 180 m until you reach the stop sign. Turn left, cross the railway tracks and continue along Route d'Houppeville. Ignore the first turning on the right and at the second turning, first turn right then left and enter the no entry zone for 5 metres. Go up the stairs immediately on the right to the top of Rue de la Liberté.

(5) Continue straight ahead on Route Forestière de la Coudrette, which starts behind the building. Continue on this road for about 1,200 metres until you reach the T-junction. Turn left onto Rue du Plain Bosc and continue downhill for about 200 metres.

(6) Turn onto the path on the right and follow it straight ahead for 1,700 metres until you reach the tarmac road, Chemin des Randonneurs. Cross the railway tracks, go down to the T-junction and turn left. At the traffic lights, turn right and cross Rue du Général de Gaulle at the pedestrian crossing to reach the town hall car park (S/E).
