Park in the town hall car park or on the grass at the side of the road.
(S/E) With your back to the town hall, follow the small road on the right that passes in front of the castle. Right next door, the church is worth a look, as is the village hall, which has been converted from a traditional old barn
(1) At the end of Rue du Pressoir, turn left down the small road that runs alongside the castle walls. Well before the gate to the water pumping station, take the forest path on the right, following the yellow markings.
(2) 100 metres further on, at the bottom before the exit from the woods, turn right onto theGR® marked trail and follow the valley upstream, continuing straight ahead.
(3) Cross the D64a to continue up the valley; the path widens and offers hikers a view of beautiful trees. 600 m before reaching the RD, visit the Maquis cave 100 m to the right of the path (it is the last path on the right and is a cul-de-sac leading to the cave).
(4) Just after the Maquis monument on the edge of the RD, take the first path on the right (marked blue) that goes up into the woods. At the top, continue straight ahead.
(5) At the Fromagère crossroads, turn left. At the high-voltage power lines, take the path on the right that crosses the plain towards the water tower (leave the blue markings).
(6) In the plain, bear left, keeping the water tower in sight. At the water tower, continue along the small road called Chemin des Hautes Terres.
(7) At the crossroads, turn left and then immediately right in front of the pretty hornbeam tree to take the "Sente à Paul" and cross the plain straight ahead.
(8) At the cross that marks the end of the path, take the small road on the right. Rue de la Juridiction in Mauny reveals pretty properties with superb architectural heritage features and leads straight back to the starting point at the town hall car park (S/E).
