Moussy-le-Neuf walks

Crossing three villages, Saint-Witz, Plailly and Vémars, with their churches and chapels and the banks of some charming ponds in Saint-Witz.

South of the Ermenonville Forest, there is a short bike ride for children or a hike for adults.

Dammartin-en-Goële was the seat of a county that fell to Antoine de Chabannes, companion of Joan of Arc, through his marriage in 1439 to Marguerite de Nanteuil, heiress to the county of Dammartin. Circular starting from Dammartin, passing through two villages, parks, rural paths, a stretch of forest, three churches and small passages in built-up areas.

A walk from station to station, through fields, woods and villages in the Goële plain. The route is punctuated by numerous crossings of the River Biberonne, a few ponds and some beautiful churches.

Located almost entirely in the Ermenonville National Forest, the hike follows theGR®1 trailto the Butte aux Gens d'Armes on the way there. On the way back, the route passes close to the "La Mer de Sable" amusement park and the Royal Abbey of Chaalis. At the end of the hike, you can explore Ermenonville.

A relaxing hike with very little elevation gain, starting from Ver-sur-Launette and heading to the Ermenonville State Forest,site of two councils or synods in the 8th and 9th centuries. The commune was called Vern in 846. Ver became Ver-sur-Launette on 15 January 1936.

A hike from station to station, through forest, cultivated plains and canal banks. The route, which has a significant elevation gain, is punctuated by the Montgé, Monthyon and Montassis hilltops, which dominate the Multien Plateau. There is also a memorial touch (Battle of the Ourcq, September 1914).

One abbey, two castles, two churches, one river, one lake, three rural villages and the Forest of Coye. In 1140 , Ascelin, known as "the Hermit", lord of Marly-la-Ville , left his castle in Marly and retired to this then inhospitable place (locum horroris et vaste solituninis) called Herremivallis, the hermit's valley. He already owned part of the land, and the Counts of Beaumont and Clermont willingly ceded the rest to him. Joined by other companions, they cleared the land located in a wooded depression forming a valley through which several springs flowed, and founded the Abbey of Hérivaux.

A hike alternating between countryside, forest and villages. The route passes in front of Hérivaux Castle, the abbey and the remains of an old 13th-century mill (a marker indicates the location of the mill). Cross the village of Bellefontaine with the banks of the Ysieux and the lake.

A hike in a forest in Picardy where the pines loom large. There are also beautiful sites covered in heather and sandstone blocks. The soil, often sandy, allows for hiking in winter without difficulty.

This hike is mainly in the forest, favouring trails in hilly terrain. The circuit passes through large pine forests with undergrowth of heather and ferns providing a beautiful variety of colours. The ground is often very sandy, making it easy to hike in winter.
