Circuit à partir de la Baraque Chaalis

Park in the Baraque de Chaalis car park, a crossroads on the Longue Route in the Ermenonville Forest

(S/E) Head south-west towards the memorial. After the Poteau du Bosquet de Dammartin, take the^first path on the left and walk back to see the memorial to the plane crash of 23 March 1974. Return to the main path

(1) Turn left, ignoring the two paths on the right and the one on the left. At the Carrefour de la Butte, turn right, then further on at the fork, take the left path and continue to the Carrefour de la Vallée.

(2) Take the^first path on the left and pass Carrefour des Espionnes. At Poteau de la Futaie, make a hairpin turn to the right and arrive at Carrefour Sainte Lucie.

(3) Take the^second path on the left, reach Route du Bosquet and follow it to the left until you reach Carrefour Saint-Barthélemy.

(4) Turn right, ignore the next road on the right and turn right at the next junction. Ignore the next road on the right to return to Route du Bosquet at Carrefour du Grisard.

(5) Take the GR® on the left and leave it immediately to turn left. Stay on this road, ignoring all the turnings on the right and left. Then make a circular route to reach Chemin du Frêne. Follow it for about 200 metres to find a new crossroads.

(6) Turn left until you reach Route Sainte-Marguerite. Turn left onto this road, which is also the GR®1. Pass Carrefour du Poteau du Merisier and keep right on the GR® to reach Carrefour du Sycomore.

(7) Continue on the GR®, which is also the Route des Bruyères, and at the^second crossroads, leave the
GR® to arrive, 200 m further on, at Route de la Pistole.

(8) Turn right onto this road and arrive at the Carrefour des Gens d'Armes.

(9) Take the^fourth road on the right, Route de Blamont, turn left to find Carrefour de l'Épicéa and continue straight ahead to Carrefour de l'Écureuil.

(10) Turn right onto Route des Pots, which is also the GR®11. Pass several crossroads and, following a straight section, you will reach Carrefour de la Grande Fourchette.

(11) Keep right on the GR® and Chemin des Châtaigniers, ignore several paths on the right and left and you will come to a crossroads with four perpendicular directions.

(12) Turn right onto Longue Route and you will soon arrive at the Baraque de Chaalis car park (S/E).
